Sup

Wanted to make use of Martial Arts: Unarmed set with a focus on Chi Manipulation since I haven't made (IIRC) a Unarmed build for a while or at all and I've been slightly inspired by the idea of a OC useing her fists and feet as a weapon, while having high reflexes.

While merely inspired this is similar to a "build" in Cyberpunk with the use of Gorilla Arms and Sandevistan (Yes, you cannot slow down time in-game but with how fast OHH is and with the use of Displacement Superspeed, you can canonize the rest in your head)

The Chi is mostly explained however you want "Magic" or "charged energy" but regardless of that, the point of the build is just to have Martial Arts: Unarmed set


So with that onto the Build:

I've gone for the Combo & Main Damage set up with this build, Thunder-Kicks is to set up Demo and OHH is my "main" attack, BCF is my Single-Target DPS, Dragon Uppercut is for it's Advs (Dragon Rush/w Chi Flame) and Execution Shot is in there just for style points (but can be removed if needed)

I have gone for Open Palm Strike w/ it's Advs (Power Shift, Chi Flame, Ghostly Strikes) to help up-keep with the Chi effect and I have also ditched Dragon Uppercut for Dragon Kick for the Stun/w Dragon Rush.

The reg Run-In-The Mill AD/Self-Heal & Rez, with the Form & EU for Chi usage.

Stats/Specs and such should be good to go for a Unarmed build

    Grats on your 30th birthday! For the build: if you want to use 100Hands more, then you can also make it to apply Demolish instead of TKicks. It won't be quite as good for dps, but it will allow you to weave 100Hands into your single-target rotation as well (if you want that for the theme), and will free up a power slot. There also not much use for Open Palm Strike here, since you have DK and 100Hands for AoE already, and BCF is better for single-target (and BCF can already apply Chi Flame innately as is). Since you're using Chi Manip and FotM, I may also replace Conviction w/ BCR, since it can proc both effects at any time. Here's an edit of the build:

    Yeah I wanted to use 100Hands more for the build why I made it R3/w it's 1-adv but now that I look into it, I think it is best to weave Demolish into 100Hands for the single-target rotation, so I've gone ahead and removed Tkicks.


    I did put in OPS (lol "opps") in order for the Chi Manip and FotM but as you mentioned before it's not necessary and frees up a power slot as well, so I've gone ahead and removed that from the build as well.

    As for BCR will it be any better then Conviction in terms of Healing overall, since I'd think it does since it slightly nerfs you overall DPS.

    This is what I went for overall:

    All the same powers you had but last two powers is a Ult and threat wipe, I'm also thinking if I want Laughing Zeph for the threat wipe or go for one that doesn't use Advs, since that can free a slot rank or adv for Dragon Kick, if needed but it should be fine as DK is mostly for the Stun & Adv anyway.

    Yea, I may get R2 and/or the 1pt Spectral adv on DK (even if it's not your main AoE), but it's up to you. BCR does have a dmg penalty, but Conviction has its own activation time (and a shorter cd) so constant use of it does lower your dps a bit too. You could take either heal and prob be fine, though, and even if BCR can proc the toggle/form and EU, you also don't strictly need it for those effects either. So that's another area that's just up to you to decide on.

    Yup, I decided in the end just to go for the 1pt Spectral adv on DK, since I've got Laughing Zephyr and it does help push me away from mobs encase I need it

    Here is the final build:

    Nothing isn't changed just swapped aorund the powers in the list, also replaced my block with Energy Shield since it "feels" better, like a actual block, rather then you rising you fist at bullets xD

    If you want still to have a nod to tech you could try this (or Hold Out Shot with Stim). I like mini mines because the heal can be at any range and I like to chuckle when some mooks run into the mindefield. Saves a point for 2nd travel power?

    Yea, if it jives well enough for the theme, a power with a Restoration/Inner Peace type adv can be a nice add on, if you want an alternative (or extra) small heal.
