Might/Fire

I have discovered the Scorching Impact power. I have some ideas to combine Might and Fire with No quarter, Scorching impact, Fire snake (trail blazer) and other things that can help in close combat. But I want to use mostly Might, not HW (except those that have no quarter, of course). Is it possible?

Maybe I can use the usual Might DPS build, but replace Mighty Leap with Scorching impact, any AoE attack with Flashfire or Pyre, demolish with no quarter? By the way, is it possible to use debuffs such as demolish and no quarter, or demolish and armor piercing together? To increase crushing damage

For No Quarter, you could just throw in Arc of Ruin w/ adv, if you really want that debuff. Another good option there is Incendiary Grenade in Muni, but that may be too out-of-theme here. And yes, you can use more than one debuff that affects a dmg type (Crushing is the one w/ the most overall), but you also don't necc need all of them in one build either (since they all take power slots and use their own activation times, and you have limited power slots available).

Anyways, there are numerous ways you could combine Might and Fire, though you prob want to make Haymaker your main boss attack, regardless. Here's one example build for it:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.45:38

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Recovery (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Behemoth (Str: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 10, End: 8)
    Level 6: Paramilitary Training (Str: 3, Con: 3, Rec: 3, End: 3)
    Level 9: Relentless (Str: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 12: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Bodybuilder (Str: 5, End: 5)
Level 21: Physical Conditioning (Str: 5, Con: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Clobber
    Level 1: Enrage
    Level 6: Pulverizer
Level 8: Night Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Demolish (Rank 2, Below the Belt)
Level 14: Arc of Ruin (No Quarter, Wildfire)
    Level 17: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 20: Haymaker (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 23: Pyre (Rank 2, Backdraft)
Level 26: Scorching Impact (Work Up)
Level 29: Endorphin Rush (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Fire Snake (Rank 2, Trail Blazer)
Level 35: Fire Shield (Rank 2)
    Level 38: Fiery Embrace
    Adv. Points: 34/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Strength: Swole (2/3)
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (1/3)
    Strength: Overpower (2/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Not an early leveling build, ofc (you could take Beatdown or Defense Combo if you needed an early attack).

Arc of Ruin can be used as a melee AoE and to put up No Quarter, while Pyre can be used as a wider ranged pbAoE that also can put down a Pyre Patch. For single-target dps, you can charge Demolish to apply and refresh its debuff, tap Arc of Ruin for No Quarter, and use charged Haymaker as your main attack. I added Fire Snake mainly cause you mentioned it before, but it can also be thrown in for a bit of extra DoT dmg in the background. Regardless, it gears mostly for Str, w/ some Rec and Con (and some cost discount on gear).

I'll still try the usual Fire Dps build with:
Fire Snake || Trail Blazer || Applies Engulfing Flames; Applies Clinging Flames
Flashfire || rank 2; Fan the Flames || Strong DoT; Refreshes Engulfing Flames; Applies Clinging Flames
Incinerate || rank 3; Burninator || Applies Unstable Accelerant; High damage

    Opener || Firesnake
    Rotation || Flashfire >> Incinerator x3

and add scorching impact to it. I think knocking back will be useful.

Scatter KBs can be annoying for allies (and knocking things out of AoE reach is somewhat counter-productive for groups), but you can always choose to not use the power in those cases as well.

A standard Fire dps build (but w/ Scorching Impact) is def a very different approach to the more Might-based one. But if you want to build and play that way instead then that's fine too.

Is there a way to adapt this to work with Bestial powers instead of might?

Bestial and Fire is a bit more odd of a fit, but you could still make it work. Here's one example of combining them:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.45:38

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Endurance (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Chiller (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 8, End: 10)
Level 6: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
    Level 9: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 12: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Throw Fire
Level 1: Shred (Rank 2, Penetrating Strikes)
    Level 6: Supernatural Power
    Level 8: Unstoppable (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Form of the Tempest
Level 14: Frenzy (Rank 2, Fear Sense)
    Level 17: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 20: Thrash (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 23: Flashfire (Rank 2)
Level 26: Fire Snake (Rank 2, Trail Blazer)
Level 29: Absorb Heat (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Pounce (Nailed to the Ground)
Level 35: Fire Shield (Rank 2)
    Level 38: Fiery Embrace
    Adv. Points: 32/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Dexterity: Combat Training (2/3)
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (3/3)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

Uses Shred to apply and refresh Shredded and Bleed(s), while Thrash is your main single-target filler attack, and Frenzy is your main AoE attack. In either case, you can weave in Flashfire and Firesnake as they become available. I passed on Scorching Impact here, just cause it's pretty costly to use, but you could swap Pounce out for it, if you think you can manage it. You could also use either WotW or NW as the slotted passive here (instead of Unstoppable), if you want. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and End/Rec (and some cost discount on gear).
