Happy 9th Anniversary!
We will be celebrating Champions Online's 9th Anniversary for the next month!
This week Witchcraft will be in front of the powerhouse with a double xp buff!
Talk to the Anniversary Host to receive a free gift this week!
  • Added new perks for throwing water balloons and opening gifts.
  • Added a new perk category for anniversary perks as the events category was getting crowded.
  • Added glitter cat tail, glitter cat ears and glitter slanted mask costumes as possible drops from Anniversary Gifts.
  • Titles that dropped during the Still Standing event are now possible drops from Anniversary Gifts.
  • Added Glitterbomb costume transformation to the event store.
  • Added Royal and Regal Crown costumes to the event store.
  • Players can purchase various Become Devices from the event store this week! This store will only be around week 1 of the Anniversary!
  • Players can no longer get tons of points for spamming emotes at Sapphire's Concert open mission. The amount that can be obtained now has a cooldown after using an emote.
  • Just a reminder, the open mission Destroids Rise Again grants Anniversary currency during this event!
  • All enemies in the game have a chance to drop Anniversary Gifts.


Save Reggie's Friends!
Martha Reece and Reggie need your help! Many of Reggie's friends are stuck in trees around Millennium City and need some help getting down!
You can Find Reggie and Martha nearby the Anniversary host for a new Anniversary daily mission.
There are quite a few new perks related to this mission! In particular doing this mission 3 times each week of the Anniversary will give you a different Cat action figure for each week!
There are 84 cats to be found in Millennium City.

Known issue: There is a group of 10 cats in the city center where once you've interacted with 1, you won't be able to interact with the other 9 until 7 days has passed.





Corrosive Lockbox
Our new lockbox is out! You can talk with Hyper Mole in the Renaissance Center to see what's new!

The following items are new to this lockbox:
  • Corrosive Jump travel power
  • Ooze Costume Tranformation
  • Dimensional Costume Transformation
  • Disco Dance Emote
  • Frustrated Emote
  • Corrosive Costume Box

The Corrosive Costume Box can contain these costumes:
  • Corrosive Head
  • Corrosive Helmet
  • Corrosive Tights
  • Corrosive Shoulders
  • Corrosive Spikes
  • Corrosive Armor
  • Corrosive Bracers
  • Corrosive Claws
  • Corrosive Armored Claws
  • Corrosive Waist
  • Corrosive Leg Spikes
  • Corrosive Feet
  • Corrosive Tail
  • Corrosive Thorned Tail



ZEN Store
The Blockbuster Key Pack has been retired.
Added the Anniversary Key Pack, this pack contains:
  • 20 Cosmic Keys
  • 1x Emissive Helmet costume
  • 1x Permanenet Party Bomb device
  • 3x Triumphant Recovery
  • 10x Healing Device Plus
  • 10 Energy Surge Plus



Misc
  • Fixed a bug where the real courrier in take you to their leader mission could stray off of their path.
  • Added "Pinstripe 2" pattern to tight pants, bellbottoms, and vest basic closed costumes. This is a free costume.
  • Added Robotic Brow costume to female characters. This is a free costume.
  • Depleted Uranium Cores can no longer be sold to vendors for resources.
  • Restored the Cat-astrophe quest in the tutorial. You can rescue Reggie again!
  • Added preview images to many Become items.

    Well this is surprising. I expected Corrosive to be release alongside Venom movie. Oh well, I hope the October lockbox will be great. Time to make a Venom costume!

    So has anyone got a map of where all the cats are yet? =)

    Also, it would be awesome if the Cat-astrophe title was available to toons that missed it in the tutorial.

    The new crowns are great, much better than the toy party crowns. Now if only we could have that sort of furred cloak that kings wear.. :)

    Does this mean that after find only about 27 cats, I would get the perk but doing more wouldn't effect next week's finding, but in fact might put those other cats on a timer for no other reason than to do the daily?

    Oh man. As someone who mains a Roin'esh, I'm loving that ooze transformation! Makes shapeshifting a lot more fun. The new travel power is a lot of fun too. Oh, and there's cats. Today is a good day.

    I know this is probably a week old, but seeing how the Blazing Lockbox has now been added to the Collector's box, is there any chance we might get the Rex Head unlock for our characters? Either in Voucher store, or maybe as a potential Anniversary drop reward? That head is 2 gud to just stay exclusive to a dumb sidekick/AF​​

    even tho i skipped the tutorial on nearly all my charas since it was initially removed... (yes i would play the tutorial every time just to steal-- uh i mean, save reggie... i meant save...shuddup)

    No Ultimate for this lockbox?
    Despite a Bestial supernatural Ultimate or Fighting Claws would be spot on for that costume? Why?
    Disappointing! I care more about power progression these days and I was looking forward to use a new ultimate

    The lesson is 'PTS sometimes matters'. The first version of the event didn't have Reggie, I pointed out So is Martha Reece being restored to the tutorial? Only ancient players have much reason to know who she is, the mission was patched back in about six hours later.

    ty for reminding them~ <3 buuut am... not gonna say anything else about how it got restored coz it will sound way meaner than intended >.<

    and as for the event itself... it is way more fun than it should be =P even tho as usual, lotsa complaints on zone hee
    convo with reggie + katto names + katto interaction perks / titles = gigglefest

    i don't think i have ever willingly wanted to fly through trees before.... which raises a valid question....
    who gonna save us when we inevitabably get stuck in trees >.<

    So apparently whenever you activate Walk while jumping with the new TP, you get retained in ooze form and after a short time, your model reappears; but the effects still linger.
    Only way to remove it is to go back to regular running mode.</font>

    What do you mean? I have tanked Teliosaurus and the Hatchling multiple times with Regen, Defiance and Invulnerability tanks ಠ_ಠ​​

    Can someone PLZ look into the "cat rescuing" daily mission... there seems to be a group of cats in CITY CENTER trees (near where people are catching on fire) that refuse to be rescued, sometimes there is more than 1 per location & no rescue link pops up. MUST... SAVE... KITTEHS !!!
