Lately there have been a lot of requests for help with various healer builds both in-game and in this forum section. Kicking off this thread to post various types of tried and tested healer builds. All of them being viable for endgame content.

CONTENTS:
1. Pure Healer: AoPM, AoED, Medical Nanites, AoAC, AoRP

2. Healer+Buffer+Debuffers: AoED Debuffer, AoAC Debuffer, AoRP Defense Buffer

3. Healer+DPS: Toxic Healer, Darkness Healer, Fire Healer, Heavy Weapons Healer, TK Melee and TK Ranged Healers, Magic Healer, Unarmed Healer

4. Healer+Tank: coming some day

5. Crowd Control Healer: AoPM Control Healer, AoAC Control Healer

Feel free to use any of the builds posted and please ask questions if you have them. If you like the build post a quick reply and tell us what you liked about it. All builds have been tested on PTS and some have been used on Live.

Note: sometimes there is a mismatch between what's in Hero Creator and power lists in forums posts. This is due to Hero Creator being constantly updated. Wherever you see such a discrepancy, use the powers specified in the forum posts for your builds.

CONTROL SETTINGS FOR HEALERS:
Options -> Controls Tab -> Scroll to near the bottom just above the targeting distance slider -> Match your settings to those below.

This will allow you to use an attack power while targeting a friendly player without changing the target...makes DPSing as a healer or even just using powers such as Mind Drain, Life Drain, or Life Essence much easier. "Assist target on attack" allows you to target an enemy, such as Dino, and when you use a Healing power, like Iniquity, to automatically heal that enemy's target.

USEFUL DEVICES FOR HEALERS:
Psionic Accelerator - wide AoE CC, procs specs such as Sent Mastery
Eruption - damage immunity, great to use during disaster recovery while needing to rez
Necrullitic Elixir - healing DoT that scales with healing bonuses
Healing Patch Plus - AoE "Resurgence"...great to use after a rez or when a lot of people are low on hp
Nimbus of Force - AoE shield...great to use after a rez or to take the edge off an anticipated spike in damage
Become Doomlord (or Become Celestial) - has a "rez other" power. Must-have for any endgame healer without a "rez other" power in their build.

PURE HEALER
This section contains builds focused entirely on heals. No attacks or anything else beyond self preservation and massive torrents of healing.

AoPM Healer
Main build objective:
Provide huge heals and great damage+toughness buffs for everyone.

Highlights:
Massive massive AoE and single-target heals, strong direct buff to team damage and toughness via AoPM, built to withstand endgame catastrophes via lots of self heals to help prevent wipes, easy and relaxing to play in terms of rotation, buffs every other aura user's aura via AoPM. This is an effect unique to AoPM that is often overlooked. So for example, an AoRP user that's in your teamup gets a huge buff which makes their team AoRP become way stronger. AoPM provides benefits all around to everyone and is the only passive that benefits other Aura users.

Healing Rotation:
Wisp (applies Poison, Illumination) -> 3x Life Essence while moving to heal different groupings of players -> Wisp -> 3x Life Essence...etc
Interrupt this rotation to use Iniquity on the Tanks if they are low. Periodically use Bionic Shielding on the Tanks.

Gear:
Gear entirely for PRE. The AoPM buff is incredibly impactful so it's best to set things up such that you can fully invest in it. Energy is not an issue and toughness is built into the power and spec choices. Utility slots should be focused on cd reduction.

AoED Healer
Main build objective:
Enable everyone to deal more damage as a result of you being there.

Highlights:
Great AoE and single-target heals, strong direct buff to team damage, has a very strong directed AoE heal and a moderate AoE heal centered on you for a nice "set it and forget it" feel. Also procs Sentinal Mastery + spec debuffs via Hex and its 2 advantages. Hex is also here because AoED enables everyone to deal magic damage when they crit, so a magic damage resistance debuff is very beneficial. AoED provides the biggest benefit to DPS and others who are not deep into diminishing returns on their own gear and form buffs. In damage parses, it tends to lift the DPS of the players outside of the top 5 more than any other Aura.

Healing Rotation:
Pillar of Poz -> 3x Arcane Vitality -> Pillar of Poz -> 3x Arcane Vitality...etc
Use Iniquity on Tanks when they get low. Periodically use Bionic Shielding on the Tanks.

Gear:
Gear entirely for PRE. Utility slots should be focused on cd reduction or CC duration.

Ridiculous amounts of AoE healing.

Highlights:

Healing Rotation:

    PURE HEALER continued...

    AoAC Healer
    Main build objective:
Lots of fast heals and rezzes, enabling the hardest hitting DPS teammates to hit way harder, and being vital towards making the DPS checks.

    Highlights:
Great AoE and single-target heals, strong direct buff to team damage via reduction to cds and charge time, is actually pretty tough given the lowered CDs on your defensive powers, provides the most useful buff for any encounter with a DPS check. Makes Eido and Dino runs much much smoother. Also can provide a constant upkeep of Sentinal Mastery via Binding Shot since its cd is reduced by AoAC. AoAC provides the biggest benefit to well geared DPS who are deep into diminishing returns on their damage buffs. This is because AoAC buffs their damage in a new way by reducing their charge times and cooldowns. A cool benefit of using AoAC as a healer is that it makes your rezzes much faster to cast.

    Healing Rotation:
fully charge Vala's Light -> Binding Shot on boss to proc Sent Mastery + resistance debuffs -> Iniquity on the lowest HP targets -> fully charge Vala's Light...etc
Periodically use Bionic Shielding on the Tanks.

    Gear:
Gear entirely for PRE. Utility slots should be focused on cd reduction or CC duration.

    AoRP Healer
    Main build objective:
Make everyone tough and prevent wipes.

    Highlights:
Great AoE and single-target heals, strong direct buff to team toughness, you end up being super tough as well, two ADs means that Tanks dying is not a big deal for you. Increased damage resistance justifies taking Unbreakable here as it only takes damage after your resistance reduces it, making it very easy to rez people. Offtanks and even Main Tanks dying becomes #1: rare and #2: when it happens the DPS can easily take over while you rez the tanks since, with your Aura on them, the DPS are as tough as Tanks. Very relaxing to play since your passive reduces the amount of healing you will need to do.

    HEALER BUFFER DEBUFFER
This section contains healer builds that debuff the enemy and buff the team's ability to resist & deal damage.

    AoED Healer/Debuffer
    Highlights:
Applies and constantly maintains a massive number of debuffs on the target by focusing on Skarns Bane's advantages and their synergies with debuffs from spec trees. Also features great AoE and self healing. Due to the awesomeness of Skarn's Bane+Curse+Hex you get to apply the following debuffs with an easy rotation:
    - Damage resistance debuffs (help teammates *do more* damage): Wither, Trapped, Debilitating Poison, Cursed, Stagger
    - Damage reduction debuffs (help teammates *take less* damage): Fear, Disorient, Jinx, Confuse

    Healing Rotation:
    2x Arcane Vitality -> Curse (Sent Mastery, Jinxed) -> 2x Arcane Vitality -> Curse -> 2x Arcane Vitality...etc.
Interrupt this rotation to use Iniquity on the Tanks if they are low.
[swap to the Debuff Rotation if healing levels feel adequate]

    Debuff Rotation:
    Curse (Sent Mastery, Jinxed) -> Skarn's Bane (Sent Mastery, debuffs) -> Hex (Sent Mastery, debuffs) -> Skarn's Bane -> Curse -> Skarn's Bane -> Hex -> Skarn's Bane...etc.

Also maintains Sentinel Mastery and has a great AoE spike heal via Vala's Light. With Particle Wave+Particle Smash+Mental Storm you get to apply the following debuffs:
    - Damage resistance debuffs (help teammates *do more* damage): Vulnerability, Wither, Trapped, Stress, Disintegrate
    - Damage reduction debuffs (help teammates *take less* damage): Disorient

    HEALER BUFFER DEBUFFER continued...

    AoRP Healer/Defense Buffer
    Highlights:
Overkill team defense. This build gives everyone around you super-tank-level toughness and gives tanks an extra layer of protection via Redirected Force. You and your teammates pretty much stop taking damage from everything but the biggest hits which you reduce with Shadow of Doubt+Miniaturization Drive. Any hits from mobs are negated completely by your IDF. The build aims to buff every available layer of defense for the entire team:
    General Layer: AoRP
Block Layer: Redirected Force (this might be in base layer and not block, but I am not sure)
    Absorb Layer: IDF

    Healing Rotation:
activate Mini Drive then use Shadow of Doubt (debuff enemy damage output) -> 3x Arcane Vitality -> Mini Drive+Shadow of Doubt -> 3x Arcane Vitality...etc.
Use Iniquity on Tanks when they get low. Periodically use Bionic Shielding on the Tanks.
[Swap to the Buffer Rotation if healing levels feel adequate]

    Buffer Rotation:
use Circle of Arcane Power -> activate Mini Drive then use Shadow of Doubt (debuff enemy damage output) -> maintain Redirected Force -> maintain Redirected Force...etc.
Interrupt this rotation to re-apply debuffs with Shadow of Doubt+Mini Drive whenever they are off cooldown

    HEALER+DPS
This section contains Healer builds that also can dish out a good amount of damage. They all have the same 3 main build objectives: be a great endgame healer, be able to deal significant damage as a DPS, be able to solo anything in the game. They also have the same gear needs: Gear primarily for PRE. If you have trouble soloing QWZ at first try taking more CON and reduce it over time as you get used to playing the build. Utility slots should be focused on cost discount.

    Toxic Healer/DPS
    Highlights:
Has high group heals from Sentinel Mastery + Life Essence.

    Healing Rotation:
Wisp (applies Poison) -> Life Essence -> Curse (applies Sent Mastery) -> Life Essence -> Wisp...etc
Interrupt this rotation to use Iniquity on the Tanks if they are low.

    Damage Rotation vs Mobs:
Wisp -> Epidemic -> Curse -> Epidemic...until weak mobs die. Swap to using Defile on the strong ones and make good use of your stun.

    Damage rotation vs. Boss:

    Healing Rotation:

    HEALER+DPS continued...

    TK Melee Healer/DPS
    Highlights:
Lower group healing, solely reliant on Sentinel Mastery, in exchange for higher DPS.

    Healing Rotation:
Mental Storm to apply Sentinel Mastery -> 6x Inquity on lowest hp targets in teamup -> Mental Storm -> 6x Inquity...etc

    Damage Rotation vs Mobs:
Activate Masterful Dodge -> run into middle of mob group and use Ego Weaponry -> activate Ego Blade Pandemonium -> 10x Ego Weaponry...etc
(you're healing yourself and damaging them at the same time via Ego Weaponry)

    Damage rotation vs. Boss:
Mental Storm to apply debuff -> Ego Weaponry until you have 5x leech stacks -> Ego Blade Annihilation -> Ego Weaponry...etc
(if there's a DPS check and you have 5x leech stacks, use Pandemonium)

    Alternative Possible Powers:
Could swap AoPM to Seraphim and possibly change the build into single-passive

    _____________________________________________________________________

    TK Ranged Healer/DPS
    Highlights:
High group healing from Sentinel Mastery + Mind Drain. Lots of synergy with many powers doing multiple things at once which makes this build my favorite dual passive Healer/DPS. Mental Storm is debuffing for your attacks + proccing Sentinel Mastery. Mind Drain is working off of Dependency which is doing its own healing. TK Barrage is setting up for Mind Drain and Lance at the same. Lance rupture procs ID Infusion which allows you to heal or do other things while passively gaining leech stacks. It's just beautiful :D

    Healing Rotation:
Mental Storm to apply Sentinel Mastery -> TK Barrage to apply Dependency -> 2x Mind Drain -> Mental Storm...etc
Interrupt this rotation to cast Iniquity on Tanks if they are low on hp

    Damage Rotation vs Mobs:
Activate Masterful Dodge -> TK Barrage everything until it's all dead except for the strongest mobs -> Mental Storm -> charge Lance to rupture leech and kill the strong mobs -> Mental Storm or Mind Drain as needed
(you're healing yourself and damaging them at the same time via Sentinel Mastery from Mental Storm)

    Damage rotation vs. Boss:
Mental Storm to apply debuff -> TK Barrage until you have 5x leech stacks -> fully charge Lance for the rupture ->->-> tap TK Barrage or maintain it for a sec until Infusion+Barrage get you to 5 leech stacks ->-> fully charge Lance -> TK Barrage tap -> fully charge Lance...etc
(after the initial rupture, you will be back at 5x leech stacks pretty quickly due to Infusion..keep an eye on that and fully charge Lance as soon as you're there)

    Alternative Possible Powers:
Could swap AoPM to Seraphim and possibly change the build into single-passive

    Magic Healer/DPS
    Highlights:
Can solo anything as long as the ultimate is off cooldown since it has high spike damage. Also has high group and self heals from Life Essence + Illumination + Healing Rune.

    Healing Rotation:
    Wisp (applies Poison) -> 3x Life Essence -> Wisp -> 3x Life Essence -> Wisp...etc
Interrupt this rotation to use Iniquity on the Tanks if they are low and to cast Pillar Of Poz for its Healing Rune.

    Damage Rotation vs Mobs:
activate Masterful Dodge -> Wisp (applies Cursed) -> full charge of Crashing Incantation to kill everyone -> use Soul Beam on whatever is still alive
(if Masterful Dodge is on cooldown, then charge Crashing Incantation before using Wisp)

    Damage Rotation vs Boss:
Wisp (applies Cursed, Illumination) -> Pillar of Poz -> 2x Soul Beam...then repeat
Interrupt this rotation if there is a DPS check to cast Crashing Incantation

    Unarmed Healer/DPS
    Highlights:
Built tough. Great single target with medium-level AoE heals via Gifts of the Storm and Sentinel Mastery. Uses some interesting synergies via Storms Eye Prana, Dodge, Resurgent Reiki, and Gifts of the Storm.

    Healing Rotation:
Elbow Slam (applies Sentinel Mastery) -> 5x Iniquity on lowest hp players -> Conviction -> Elbow Slam -> 5x Iniquity -> Conviction -> Elbow Slam...etc
Interrupt this rotation to use Bountiful Chi Resurgence and apply Gifts of the Storm. Use Conviction everytime it's up when you have Gifts of the Storm active.

    Damage Rotation vs Mobs:
activate Masterful Dodge -> Elbow Slam (applies Demolish) into the middle of mob group -> Thundering Kicks until weakest mobs are dead -> use Burning Chi Fist on whatever is still alive
(if Masterful Dodge is on cooldown, you can still charge in just fine. The principle at work here is Thundering Kicks+Way of the Warrior buffing your dodge and reducing the cooldown on Bountiful Chi. Keep spamming Thundering Kicks+Bountiful Chi - this will heal you and your team while you kill the enemies at the same time)

    Damage Rotation vs Boss:
Elbow Slam (applies Sentinel Mastery, Demolish) -> 4x Burning Chi Fist -> Thundering Kicks -> Elbow Slam -> 4x Burning Chi FIst ...then repeat

    CROWD CONTROL HEALER
This section contains crowd control healer builds that are able to solo crowd control the Kigatilik, Qwyjibo, and Eidolon fights while remaining capable of solo healing endgame encounters.

The suggested gear used by all of these builds is the same: 2X Sentinel Brooches in primary Utility slots with stat mods being PRE. If you want to boost your control duration and aura bonus further you can also slot in 2X Growth Mods into your primary offense. For even longer control duration you can take a cosmic secondary offense+rank5 superstat core and a cosmic secondary utility+rank5 control core.

    Note regarding viability at Eidolon:
The crowd control targets at Eido, Shadow Crystals, can often spawn far apart from each other and 1 or 2 seconds of them healing Eidolon is very substantial. So effectively crowd controlling this fight is generally more demanding of the player and the build than other encounters. The key requirement is the ability to quickly stun all crystals, which necessitates having access to a ranged stun-on-tap for each of the 3 crystals. See the Eidolon section specified under Crowd Control Rotation for a sense of how this plays out.

If you do not need your build to be Edio-viable then you won't need any of the stuns. As long as you have a long-range hold, such as [Psionic Accelerator], for Qwyjibo hearts and you retain Ego Sleep + your paralyze hold to use as a bridge between sleeping Kigatilik's dogs, you can still be an effective crowd controller for those encounters. With enough PRE, you can also use Compassion instead of Manipulator.

    AoPM Control Healer
    Highlights:
Great single-target and AoE heals from Arcane Vitality, Sentinel Mastery, Iniquity, and Dependency (applied by Telekinetic Barrage). Able to solo CC all of the fights + solo heal Dino, Qwy, Kiga, and Teleios Ascendant.

    Healing Rotation:
3x Arcane Vitality -> Telekinetic Barrage (apply Dependency, Sentinel Mastery) -> 3x Arcane Vitality -> Telekinetic Barrage -> 3x Arcane Vitality...etc.
use Iniquity on the Tanks when they get low

    Crowd Control Rotation:
    Kigatilik:
    1. once puller gets the dogs in position, fully charge Ego Sleep at the center-most dog ->
    2. once dog gets down to 6-8 seconds of sleep left, fully charge Grasping Shadows at the center-most dog ->
    3. once the paralyze from Grasping Shadows is down to 8 secs left, fully charge Ego Sleep at the center-most dog ->
    4. go back to step 2. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until Kigatilik is down.

    Qwyjibo:
    - quickly sleep 1 heart and paralyze the other 2 hearts by aiming the [Psionic Accelerator] device at Ape so that it hits 2 hearts at the same time. Then go around and sleep the hearts you paralyzed: IMG LINK
    - if you don't have a [Psionic Accelerator], sleep the nearby heart and use Telekinetic Barrage to stun the ones far away. Then go around and sleep the 2 hearts you stunned.

    Eidolon:
Shadow Crystals can spawn in a variety of positions relative to each other. They're up for 30 seconds.
    1. Two Crystals are near each other and one is far away:
->run over to the two that are near each other and use Telekinetic Maelstrom to stun both at the same time
->target the red Crystal that's far away and use Telekinetic Barrage on it

    2. All three Crystals are near each other:
->run to the mid-point between them and use Telekinetic Maelstrom to stun all of them at the same time

    3. All three Crystals are far apart:
->use Telekinetic Barrage on each one. Make sure you are maintaining uptime on your Ego Leech stacks to ensure that the Crystals get stunned quickly

You need to be ready to re-hold all 3 Crystals, since your stuns don't last longer than the Crystals do. If people are attacking the Crystals, you will need to use stuns since they don't break on damage. If no one is attacking the Crystals you can use a paralyze for your 2nd round of holds.

    AoAC Crowd Control Healer
    Highlights:
Great single-target and AoE heals from Vala's Light, Sentinel Mastery, Iniquity. Able to solo CC all of the fights + solo heal Dino, Qwy, Kiga, and Teleios Ascendant.

    Gear Requirement:
100ft range Attack Device to pair with the power Sonic Device. There are a lot of these that cost between 10g-100g. Should be easy to get.

    Healing Rotation:
    Vala's Light -> Electrical Current (apply Sentinel Mastery) -> Vala's Light -> Electrical Current -> Vala's Light...etc.
use Iniquity on the Tanks when they get low

    Crowd Control Rotation:
    Kigatilik:
    1. once puller gets the dogs in position, fully charge Ego Sleep at the center-most dog ->

    Eidolon:
Shadow Crystals can spawn in a variety of positions relative to each other. They're up for 30 seconds.

    3. All three Crystals are far apart:
->use Electrical Current on the Crystal closest to you.
->Lightning Strike lunge at the next Crystal.
->use your 100ft Attack Device paired with Sonic Device to stun the farthest away Crystal.

You need to be ready to re-hold all 3 Crystals, since your stuns don't last longer than the Crystals do. If people are attacking the Crystals, you will need to use stuns since they don't break on damage. If no one is attacking the Crystals you can use a paralyze for your 2nd round of holds.

Looks like a nice start overall. General trend of procing Sent Mastery and having Iniquity is a solid base for any healer. I'm not really sure if Conduit can fill in for Iniquity's 100ft reach, but Iniquity is kinda in unique place atm and I can see why some players may get tired of using it and want something else. I guess its also worth noting that the Infernal build could also apply Fear via Wisp, and I think you meant Brimstone's Afetrshock instead of Pyre+Absorb Heat in HW's damage rotation.

Otherwise, pretty good work thus far.

This is a variation of the build recommended by kamokami and with input from others. I think most people would recommend replacing INT with REC (and the appropriate talents), but INT has served me well, and AoPM gives me a bunch of everything anyway (Energy has not ever been an issue). Also Prot Field should probably Bountiful Chi Resurgence with Resurgent Reiki, but I have Prot Field for my character theme, plus 8k bubbles still help me out with loose mob aggro and soloing. And if you can, some people like Mind Drain over Arc Vit, but I don't have MD unlocked, and I find Arc Vit extremely useful on fights like Kiga and Dino. And yes, I fly instead of Acrobatics. Flying is cool.

But since I've made the changes to mainly incorporate Mental Storm as suggested, I've found I score much better, and aside from score, feel I control recoveries much better. There's no real tricks to the build though. You can do some damage (it solos well, slowly), but it's pretty much straight healing.

As I said, I don't think it's at all a streamlined build, but I just wanted to show people building healers that you can still perform well with a build that is probably a little dumb.

Quick question on the toxic healer. Could I replace Curse for Cybernetic Tether to give it the "Vine" look? Also take the Recharge adv to get that heal effect? I'm looking for vine abilities

    Thanks,

    Great stuff by the way!

Thanks and you could, but you'd lose the ability to apply Sentinel Mastery since Curse has a stun and Tether doesn't.

Given the vine theme, I wonder if you've checked out Crippling Coils? They would allow you to keep proccing Sentinel Mastery, they have a healing adv, and they come out of the group to grasp your target in vine-like fashion.

Updated the OP and the rest of the posts.

    - Pure Healer builds are now up (see OP)
    - Major update to formatting to make everything more readable

We still have more combinations and some really interesting Healer builds coming up such as Healer Tanks and Healer Debuffers. Keep watching the thread so you'll know when the latest builds get posted and discussed.

    Ohhhh... Nice thread!

I've just been leveling up a HW healer.. feedin him chicken bones.

Your version seems better than mine >.< . But, I'm a know-nuthin when it comes to healing.

I'm curious tho. Don't you need a CC power to proc sentinel mastery? I'm not seeing one in that build.

Great resource! I'm kind of running the toxic healer build, now, but with less damage and with AoAC. I use the Psionic Accelerator device to proc Sentinal Mastery. But, now I'm kind of thinking of swapping over to AoPM.

I do really like that Fire/Healer build, but I already have a fire main, so I'm not sure.

Ah you were asking about the HW Healer....yup I had Sentinel Mastery in there by mistake. Thanks for the catch. Fixed now to be Presence Mastery

    Awww ok.

Kinda like the idea of sentinel mastery. Just fits with the "attack stuff to heal frands" motif. What about throwing in thunderstrike with the consume ions (or whatever it's called) heal? Makes your rotation kinda complex... plus two powers you gotta drop... eh dunno.

On a side note. I ditched Arc of Ruin, and grabbed the grenade on my HW build. Also tried out iniquity.. and it certainly shores up that hole in "on tap" healing very nicely. Huge improvement! So, thanks for posting these builds, very helpful.

Awesome!! Re:Sent Mastery, we can make it work. You could take Thunderclap, to proc Sent Mastery, instead of Brimstone.

Thunderclap does look like a good fit. I'm currently using Eruption instead of Brimstone, which has some pluses and minuses. But, not having that spammable AoE for trash does get annoying at times. Might feel better once I get some real CDR gear. Guess I'll play around a bit an see what to cut. Its a pretty tight build tho... every power there fills a need.

I wasn't planning to go dual-passive. But, I'm using AoRP... and that aura doesn't play nice with hybrid (when last I checked). So, that versatility is tempting.

Too bad we can't recolor the lightning of AoED. Some white lightning would be sweet for my Paladin (holy shock anyone?)

It plays nice when soloing. When teaming, you wouldn't want to go in Hybrid role with *any* aura because if a support toon with that aura already exists then the hybrid aura actually lowers the bonus for everyone else. That said, hybrid AoRP stacked on top of support role AoRP does have that nasty block bug which is a lot worse than just lowering bonuses.

ZOMG I tried out Antagonize on my healer last night and early testing indicates it rocks. The extra movement is sweet. I tested it on Ape and Dino where that matters, and it really made a difference.

Good stuff! Additional options include Versatility adv on Athletics travel power, Unrelenting spec from Protector (one of my favorite trees for Healers), Mini Drive gizmo adv, and some of the new Elec "charge up" buffs.

new update is up with 2 new builds! AoED Healer/Debuffer and Magic Healer/DPS. They are in the OPs and below

    AoED Healer/Debuffer
    Highlights:
This build applies and constantly maintains a massive number of debuffs on the target by focusing on Skarns Bane's advantages and their synergies with debuffs from spec trees. Also features great AoE and self healing. Due to the awesomeness of Skarn's Bane+Curse+Hex you get to apply the following debuffs with a very easy rotation:
    - Damage resistance debuffs (help teammates *do more* damage): Wither, Trapped, Debilitating Poison, Cursed, Stagger
    - Damage reduction debuffs (help teammates *take less* damage): Fear, Disorient, Jinx, Confuse

    Healing Rotation:
    2x Arcane Vitality -> Curse (Sent Mastery, Jinxed) -> 2x Arcane Vitality -> Curse -> 2x Arcane Vitality...etc.
Interrupt this rotation to use Iniquity on the Tanks if they are low.
[swap to the Debuff Rotation if healing levels feel adequate]

    Debuff Rotation:
    Curse (Sent Mastery, Jinxed) -> Skarn's Bane (Sent Mastery, debuffs) -> Hex (Sent Mastery, debuffs) -> Skarn's Bane -> Curse -> Skarn's Bane -> Hex -> Skarn's Bane...etc.
[swap to the Healing Rotation if healing levels feel low]

    Magic Healer/DPS
    Highlights:
Can solo anything as long as the ultimate is off cooldown since it has high spike damage. Also has high group and self heals from Life Essence + Illumination + Healing Rune.

    Healing Rotation:
    Wisp (applies Poison) -> 3x Life Essence -> Wisp -> 3x Life Essence -> Wisp...etc

Added another new build. AoAC Healer/Debuffer, which is all about getting the highest DPS to hit even harder. Build and device list are in the OPs and below.

    ________________________________________________________________

    AoAC Healer/Debuffer
    Highlights:
This build applies a large number of debuffs for all damage types as well as additional debuffs for the highest DPS powersets, namely those that deal Particle, Electric, and Ego damage. It also constantly maintains Sentinel Mastery and has a great AoE spike heal via Vala's Light. With Particle Wave+Particle Smash+Mental Storm you get to apply the following debuffs with a very easy rotation:
    - Damage resistance debuffs (help teammates *do more* damage): Vulnerability, Wither, Trapped, Stress, Disintegrate
    - Damage reduction debuffs (help teammates *take less* damage): Disorient

    Healing Rotation:
    full charge Vala's Light -> 3x Iniquity on lowest hp targets -> full charge Vala's Light -> 3x Iniquity -> full charge Vala's Light...etc.
Interrupt this rotation to use Mental Storm now and then to maintain Sentinel Mastery.
[swap to the Debuff Rotation if healing levels feel adequate]

    Debuff Rotation:
Particle Wave (Illum, Disorient, Burn Through) -> Particle Smash (Sent Mastery, Light Everlasting, Disintegrate) -> Vala's Light -> tap Mental Storm (Sentinel Mastery, spec debuffs) -> Vala's Light -> Particle Wave -> Particle Smash -> Vala's Light...etc.
[swap to the Healing Rotation if healing levels feel low]

Most of the content I play, Cosmics+TA+Eido, destroys all pets every 10-30 seconds so I don't personally use or recommend pet builds. I would not suggest it for the Cosmics/etc but for everything else, you could take one of the pure healer or debuffer builds and swap in Healing Drones or other pets for some powers.

All of the builds I'm putting up in this thread are tested to be performant for endgame content.

Updated many builds to include the Gifts of the Storm advantage that was added to Bountiful Chi Resurgence in the latest power pass. This is an amazing heal and pretty much a must-have for any pure Healer.

Also added 2 new builds: (in the OP and also below)
Unarmed Healer/DPS - punch, elbow, and kick your enemies and heal your friends at the same time! Makes good use of the synergies that were updated with the Unarmed power pass.

AoRP Healer/Defense Buffer - ever wanted to give your team "God Mode"? Well this gets pretty close...damage reduction for days.

    ________________________________________________________________

Unarmed Healer - DPS/Healer dual passive - Freeform

Periodically use Bionic Shielding on the Tanks.
swap to the Debuff Rotation if healing levels feel adequate

    Buffer Rotation:
use Circle of Arcane Power -> activate Mini Drive then use Shadow of Doubt (debuff enemy damage output) -> maintain Redirected Force -> maintain Redirected Force...etc.
Interrupt this rotation to re-apply debuffs with Shadow of Doubt+Mini Drive whenever they are off cooldown

CONTROL SETTINGS FOR HEALERS: (also in the OP)
Options -> Controls Tab -> Scroll to near the bottom just above the targeting distance slider -> Match your settings to those below.

This will allow you to use an attack power while targeting a friendly player without changing the target...makes DPSing as a healer or even just using powers such as Mind Drain, Life Drain, or Life Essence much easier. "Assist target on attack" allows you to target an enemy, such as Dino, and when you use a Healing power, like Iniquity, to automatically heal that enemy's target.

It also lets you target an ally and automatically hit their target if you attack. Note that some bosses drop target temporarily when using certain powers, which means you can't use assist target to heal; Kigatilik is a particular offender.

Yeah in those cases I prefer to target the Tank (or whoever else might need spike heals) directly and use my AoE heals such as Life Essence to heal the DPS while keeping the Main Tank targeted.

Note to everyone checking out these builds:

I've been getting lots of tells with people saying that the powers listed in the post do not match the powers in Hero Creator when you click the build link. It seems like many builds randomly contain the eye of the storm power instead of masterful dodge or BCR. Please use the powers listed in the posts, not what you see in Hero Creator, to make your builds.

I will report the issue in the Hero Creator thread and depending on the timeline for a fix either remove the Hero Creator links or keep them.

Update: I was able to manually fix the builds in Hero Creator and put up new links in OPs. But just in case things ever look broken again....when in doubt, always refer to the powers listed in the forum posts.

Certainly doable. The guidelines that many of the Healer/DPS builds follow are essentially:
    - Use strong single target heals for emergency situations
    - Have Sentinel Mastery
    - Use in-set AoE heals to deal damage and heal yourself+the group at the same time

This last point of "deal damage and heal at the same time", instead of swapping between one and the other is what sets these builds apart in terms of mechanics from just any other healer that has an attack.

Munitions doesn't have in-set AoE heals so I didn't prioritize it for this thread, but I will dig some more and see if I can come up with anything non-obvious (i.e. Iniquity+any AoE heal+2gun).

For all of the Healer/DPS builds: Gear primarily for PRE. If you have trouble soloing content at first try taking more CON and reduce it over time as you get used to playing the build. Utility slots should be focused on cost discount.

Merc and Heroic gear is fine to start. Virtuos is best if you hate rampage token farming. Justice gear is absolute best if you don't mind farming the tokens.
  • I can do either Virtuous or Justice as I have plenty of SCR and GCR, what justice gear to you recommend, Also for secondaries is OV gear best

Justice Ger, Cosmic Offensive Secondary with healing core+ the two other ov secondaries.

I'd be interested in a healer/cc'er kind of thing. I see that some were planned for someday soon(tm). Would it be easier if I tossed something on a separate thread to hammer it out? I don't necessarily need someone to just "give" me a build.
  • For DPS/Healer do you have it set in Hybrid role?
  • jaybee37jaybee37 Posts: 38 Arc User
Most of the DPS/Healer have two passives, so you'd want to run them in either damage or support role, depending on what you were doing at the time. You might have luck soloing in hybrid, but for cosmics, you want the bonuses of one role or the other.
  • With the magic /dps build with one passive, has anyone tired it on cosmic s does it hit 100k without much difficulty

That setup deals about 3k dps to test dummies with r7 mods equipped. 3k dps vs test dummies typically translates to around 2k dps vs a cosmic. At 2k damage per second it would take less than 1 minute to get 100k points.
