Old Build//New LVL 40//Retcon//Endgame Electricity

Hello, I finally got another one of my characters to lvl 40. I have some Mercenary Gear, I have Read the End Game guide, but I'm not understanding it very well. SO, I have an old Electricity Build and I would like to know what can be changed to make it more viable to Endgame DPS content. I would also like Gear suggestions(i have some mercenary pieces, just not sure which ones to use), and mods that are recommended to put in them. I have a lot of mods I've collected, several I've made rank 7.

I posted earlier, and somehow, it failed to show up in the forum. If it reappears, I'll delete it in favor of this one.

    More optimal dps would be in things like replacing Con SS for Dex SS. maybe using a DEX/Ego/End_Rec setup w/ an Ego focus, using another AO and/or an ult, etc. A threat wipe that works at 100ft could also be valuable.

    Basic rotation is: Put up NI w/ Ball Lit and/or Chain Lit, put up Superconductor w/ charged Chain Lit once NI is up, then just keeping channeling LArc while refreshing both debuffs w/ Ball Lit. You can use any of Elec's AoEs as your AoE dps filler- I took LStorm here but that's a bit more up to you. Gears mostly for Ego, w/ some Con and End/Rec.

    I can't give many other specifics on gear other than you generally want crit and severity on offensive slots (unless you have a DUC as that takes first priority), maxHP and/or +Defense on defensive gear, and cost discount & cd reduction on utility gear (and if you can get the utility mod w/ +% Elec dmg, 'Right Eye of the Sapphire Dragon'- then go for that). Kamo's guide that you read should also have a bit more details on gear (in his 3rd post on it).

    Depleted Uranium Core. Warlord's special Alert has a small chance of dropping one. You'd prob get one just by finding it on the AH, if you can afford it.

    I also noticed you have both Electric Form and Chilled Form in there.. how do i use that?
    can we use multiple forms simultaneously?

    Electric Form is a slotted passive, despite the word 'form' being in the name. Its not in the same class of powers that we usually call 'toggles' or 'forms' like Chilled Form. I assume you already know how slotted passives and toggles/forms work in a basic sense (and how they are different), since you've already outlined some in-game experience, but let us know if not.

    Yea I got confused since I never used an Ice character before so I was unfamiliar with the ice powerset. I saw Form and thought it like Martial Arts forms. Thanks for clearing it up.

    Yea, Chilled Form is basically a clone of Concentration, but w/ diff stats scaling it (Ego or Dex, instead of Ego or Int w/ Conc). It is easy to confuse the designations based on nomenclature if ur newer, though, so no worries.

    @flowcyto quick question: IS this Might Tank build used in Hybrid or Tank Role? it's hidden in the spoiler to avoid taking up space. also, don't mind the Asterix, I was using it to keep track of what my character has already chosen.

    i think that's a few too many Challenge! - generally, you only need one on your primary ST and AoE attack powers (i.e. the ones you use the most)​​

    Hey guys.. that's prob one of my builds, so yea this is kinda awkward.

    Defense Combo can be okay for snap threat and/or to refresh Defiance if not getting hit, but those are more dealing w/ non-ideal cases rather than using it as a staple attack here. You don't strictly need it, but imo it can be worth it as a fallback. Also Challenge on diff attacks depends and what you use them for. Challenge on Demolish is fine if you are sometimes opting not to use Haymaker due to its KB on trash. You can ditch them if you want and change the playstyle a touch to suit, but its not like those 1-2 extra adv points are a high priority by that point either.

    And yea, ideally you play that in Tank role for groups, though I guess you could consider Hybrid role if you want a bit more dmg when out solo or w/e.

    Thanks for the advice. I do find using Def Combo does help build up stacks of defiance with slower to attack mobs. or for keeping it refreshed when moving between groups of mobs.
