Mega D become

So those of us who have played Resistance at least once remember how at the end you get to pilot a Mega. It's loads of fun. Seriously, you get to thrash entire armies as you slowly plod to your goals.

But...

1: it can't jump at all. seriously, it has to walk around 2-foot walls.

2: for something so cool, it's a shame it only gets used there.

    You do relise that it does over 10K per hit in a wide AoE and can dish out insane tier DPS... if this was made into a become, it would be entirely possible to bring a couple of these to the cosmic fights and roflstomp them in about 30 seconds...

    if they made the mega D into a become device they would need to cull it's damage and durability to the point where... well, you might as well be using the resistance leader robot instead.

    Yeah some things are broken... no I don't use/abuse them.. where would be the fun in that?

    Nah, just make it into an OV. You'd want to remove the self-heal power and instead give it 3m hp, and you might want to change some other numbers slightly (the 100k destroyer beam is a tad high for an OV), but it's in the right general range.

    You mean like using OVs to fight Tako? oh wait.... That went badly, very badly. Although OVs can't block and this thing can.

    Maybe they could do another mission, like a custom alert, where you use them.

    Become implies that it could be used anywhere, such as in candana to smack kiga in the face.

    idk, I think if you gather enough or the right people, this would be a good challenge for us the way it is! Just start near a respawn point for convenience...OV users never think of that, but it would be nice of them!!

    But limit the device to MC like the other OV's, so they cant cheapshot the cosmics.

    hmm, i should work out something so others dont have to run so far to get back to the fight

    Mega D as an OV would be kind of cool -- especially if it spawns at it's Huge Mega-D size. But as far as the original idea.. some kind of "Giant Robot" become device could be fun.

    Yeah, but I don't think it'd really look like a Mega-D if Teleios made a fleshy duplicate.

    Maybe Mechanon/Destroyer (the one from the Factory in the museum) saw the idea and "dropped" the plans off on the telio clone agents
