Foxbatcon Testing
  • Foxbatcon has been enabled on PTS.
  • Added Mime and Juggle emotes to the Foxbatcon vendor.
  • PTS debugger has currency packs.



Misc
  • Fixed some erratic NPC's in UNTIL Headquarters, Rencen and Caprice.
  • Added tailor to Caprice.
  • Added healing item/star refill vendors to the Caprice bartenders.

    Those new emotes...

    Will they be only purchasable during the event and....will the struggle become real when it is announced these emotes are character bound? :dissapointed:

    Question...

    If I recall correctly, the last Foxbatcon had the currency taking up space in our inventory instead of being a currency.

    Will there be a function put in place to convert our previous currency into the new currency (provided there is a new currency which goes into our resource tab)?

    I'd expect them to give us the option to trade them in for like swag bags or something. I don't expect us to be able to get the new currency for them. =(

    There will be a new currency this year to replace the inventory space version. Not everything has been converted over to it yet.
    There will be a vendor to exchange it for some other items, but there will not be a direct old currency to new exchange.​​

    Perhaps this vendor could have the Foxbatcon costume pieces/items for this exchange.

    Bug: Juggle Emote
    When you use it
    The juggle emote does not have anything for your character to juggle; aka invisible/air juggle.

    I tried the Mime Emote and it looks more *robotic* than *fluid* to me. I can see it work for the *Robot* inspired charcters but I do not think it would work for an actual *Mime* inspired character (think Marcel Marceau).

    Nope. Already tried and it doesn't.

    To be fair, we just got an all-new event (High Noon), so I'm not going to gripe about not getting much new on Foxbat Con. I AM a bit bummed about the emotes being character bound, though. I feel like in a game that seems to be sort of tailored to playing alts that account bound would be more common.

    I didn't grind out every item I wanted last year. I'm happy to have another go at the event.

    There is still dev time to make a few more items.

    CO tie-in to Barney? Why Barney is in Caprice is another matter, probably one for the MCPD.

    Well, one is more than enough to warrant such a question. After all, not everyone who thought the same way posted. Many people that read the patch notes do not post. So, its safe to say that there is more than one thinking the same thing.

    If one is more than enough, then zero is enough. Hmm.

    But yes, interested to see what they do this year. Some of my favorite costume stuff has come from Foxbatcon in years past.

    So I assume the Laser Sword would get the Imaginary Weapon skin for this event?

    Bug / PTS / Foxbat Vendor + Bags
    1) Swag bags bought from vendor give back vintage inventory credit (?)
    2) Vintage credits kept going into overload and made vendor refuse to sell bags (old vintage not in main bag)
    3) Vendors weren't selling anything on my version other than bags and stars (both conversion and exchange) .. items could be 'out' being exchanged/converted though

    Didn't Foxbatcon get its pass last year already? Might not be much to expect this year if that's the case.
