I had a recent exchange with someone that said there was a hard-cap on how many character slots you can eventually have. I have heard that there is a limit on how many you can buy, but is there a limit on how many you can earn?
Has anyone here actually reached a hard-cap on this?
At first, when I read the required amount of alts needed to qualify as an altoholic, I was like "Damn, that's not many at all!", but then I realized my problem...

Given a notebook by the dying (and also suddenly alien) Professor Popinjay, Bally searches for clues using the Professor's gift of a protective force sphere. HEY, RUBE!
