and MY personal favorite by artist Rose McClain...
It's always a lot of fun getting these done and seeing the creativity of artists convey that look onto something to 'see' your super hero as an actual comic book creation.
If so, is Sparrowhawk's Theme anything like Guile's Theme? :O
[ @Skaargoroth in-game / @summerfields on the Forums ] Current character roaster: The Iconica, Lady Mythica, Black Jackal, Omni-Woman, Fantomask Currently waiting for: Moar comics! And maybe City of Titans, too. Hopefully!
LOVING this image of Alex Harper/ Sparrowhawk out of costume. It was done by Zairyo on Deviantart who is _very_ familiar with Champions, lol. It's a wonderful piece and love the fact I was able to work with him on getting this.
Lotsa art here.. this must have costed quite a fair bit, none the less I do also love that pic of her out of costume, lovely.
Hahaha, no comment on how much I've spent on commissions. I will say that not all the art is as expensive as you might think. You just need to look around and find things that fit your price range.
It is fun though and I really enjoy it. It enhances the role play aspect for me, especially since I'm not able to join in things as much as I'd like due to real life. It seems to flesh out the character as an actual comic book heroine.
I have a few commissions in the pipeline regarding my super group as well that I no doubt will probably be starting a thread on soon, as well. They are a wonderful bunch of people so its a nice way to share in the fun of seeing your character.

I agree...and addictive. I know I am in the process of getting a chibi like action figure. I'm hoping in Janurary that I can catch this one person and get a full blown replica.
And commission range from $5--up. Most I've spent is around $150 for one
Instead of a huge list, because, let's face facts theres a lot of art, haha... I'll just say search for me on deviantart (pallas001) and you can see that I've added pieces to my 'favorites'. See what you like then check out that particular artist. I hope that helps.
By the way, I recently updated her look (not that anyone cares, just saying! LOL) and the final pic is the current uniform.
To those interested in getting commissions... look around. There really is a price point that can fit most people's budgets. Some of these pieces I have in my collection were fairly cheap, in fact a few I've shown on this thread were under twenty dollars. Some cost more, but if you are willing to take the time to shop around it can really pay off.
Still a WiP, but here's one of Sparrowhawk just about ready to do some damage to the people in front of her (if you look in this sketch you can see the dark shadows that will come later). Her grin totally says that she's going to enjoy the next ten seconds or so immensely, lol.

Good advice there. The only commissions I have ever paid for were very recently (smacky's huge champions poster being done atm), I will definitely look around. Thanks....and some very nice stuff in this thread

Sparrowhawk and the Protectors of the World!
Sparrow, Keioisis, Zwein, Dobergirl and C.O.P.!!!
Brand new pic by the same artist who did her unmasked pose recently. Loving the atmosphere.
