Veteran of the Psychic Wars by Blue Oyster Cult inspired the creation of my main character Geist.
Geist is psychically linked to a post apocalyptic future version of himself. He has lived the other's life time and time again in sleeping and waking dreams. This has given him access to a wide variety of survival skills, some minor psionic gifts of his own, and a war weary dedication to ensuring that the future he has seen and lived does not come to pass.

For my newest toon, Magitech, I'd need an instrumental version of BOC's "Black Blade" - the lyrics would be a tad on-the-nose. (He has an enchanted armor suit that grants him certain powers; what he does not know yet is that it also seeks to corrupt his soul, and will begin adding Shadow powers to its current Sorcery set next time he levels up.)
