Characters you think should be future Onslaught Villains?

I haven't seen a thread like this yet. I think it would be nice for us all to voice our opinions on what OVs should be next to possibly help give the devs an idea of who should be next.

For me, I think Freon would be a great idea, especially since the Ice powerset's got plenty of new abilities added and to go with the Ice Hair and Ice rock armors.

Other than Freon I think a magic/sorcery villain would be cool, such as Talisman or Valerian Scarlett, or a male sorcerer to even out the genders we can choose from.

What do you all think?

    It has to be Foxbat.

I didn't think about him. Foxbat would be incredible! Imagine him trapping a bunch of people with bubble gum guns!

    Spinnytop. Or Nepht.

My vote could go to Talisman. Foxbat might be fun in a lethal joke character kind of way. Probably been mentioned before and not sure how technically feasible it is but being able to use one of your own Nemesis could be fun. Perhaps one of the Kings of Ebom or Gigaton could be cool too.

I'd be too easy to beat. Players hate moving so they'd just get one shot by everyone. I vote for Nepht, she uses cheap tank builds.

I'd say Foxbat just for the chance of getting his powers as rewards.

especially if when she teleports away, her clothes disappear before she does, Like when she's in the desert mission with the rocket. That would get a load of players watching.. I mean playing her.

Personally, I want to see a version of Viperia that's actually as dangerous as the lore says she's supposed to be. Onslaught would be a great place for that.

Really now? Huh. To be honest I don't think I've actually played that mission. This warrents further investigation.

    For science of course... >.>;

I actually want to see more giant monster type of "villains" for this. I had hoped that we'd get to play Clarence starting with this winter event, but sadly, no. I'd also like to see Qwyjibos and un-smallened Cazulons wreaking havoc across the city. Then we'd just need a giant werewolf and we'd have some real Rampage action. :D

    Torture. Definitely not.

I think Baron would be cool, that block would quickly get you some villain tokens. Talisman is one I'm hoping on. Not because of her clothes disappearing before her though :D .

Pretty sure healing for OVs is off the table, without which there isn't much of interest about him. Talisman has the same problem. If we want different gameplay styles, perhaps a summoner of some sort (I'd be tempted by Dr Dino Demogaard, just because summoning swarms of raptors is also Teleios' style).

Except you never told him to post in it, you were responding to what he said about never having seen one, I'm just really desperate to get a win on you and it often highlights how immature and unprofessional I am in my position as a volunteer forum admin - it's fine though, because I don't deny that I'm bad at it, and I don't deny how easy it is to get me into these silly little bickering fests ( though I kind of look like a hypocrite when I "clean" threads because people are bickering too much, lol).

No I don't go for "wins". You're only saying that because I said it to you. It's predictable; you do it all the time. I admit when I'm wrong all the time, how does that get me any "wins"? Silly.
    spinnytop said:

This is not my profession. I'm a volunteer. If you're so hung up about it, go shake your fist at the man. You know the first thing I was told before I started moderating? "You can do as much or as little as you want." Literally. Remember how O Farmer was a moderator for like two years despite no longer even moderating on the forums? That's okay, that's what he signed up to do, and there was no problem with that. I'm a player first and moderator second. The guys who "managed" me, from the start, knew this. So no point for you!

I don't use self-deprecating humor as admission of doing a bad job. That whole thing went right over your head. I can poke fun and laugh at myself. Been doing it my whole life. So, swing and a miss!
    spinnytop said:

Like I said, player first, moderator second. I didn't stop being who I was just because someone picked me to close threads. If that was a requirement, I would have simply taken my all-powerful moderator status on a new, anonymous account. If it was a paid gig, yeah, this would be ridiculous. But it's a volunteer gig on a game forum. If it was a problem, I'd be booted by now, right? Because I report myself (and lawd knows plenty of people have reported me as well!) when there's any kind of a snafu.
    spinnytop said:

( though I kind of look like a hypocrite when I "clean" threads because people are bickering too much, lol).

Back in the day, I told Stormshade (who was really, really worried about us moderators possibly not having a thick enough skin to do this, because of all the hate we'd get for it (literally, day one hate, it happened!)), that I can take anything anyone throws at me. It's the same reason why I wouldn't always close down threads or remove posts where people came at me like this, because despite people saying the worst things about me, I don't care, and I'd rather explain the situation rather than just shut down a thread that questioned moderator actions, as we were encouraged to do. Most of the time, the results were positive. Sometimes my explanations of my actions actually stopped trolling and flaming. I call it a win!

So that's why I let people come at me, but when people go at each other, I don't think it's a good idea to let that go on. If that makes me a hypocrite? Cool, I'll take it. If people file a report on a thread that I've been participating in, and my own posts were among those that were seen as problematic? I'll delete my posts along with any others! Because sometimes when I'm just having a conversation, some people think it's a friggin' battle, so fine, I'll remove it. Zero cares given. Threads that are reported are usually cleaned of offending posts, and for a while you made it your duty to report those posts to me! And those posts got cleaned up. But you stopped doing that, and when I don't get reports on threads/posts, they sometimes stay up because I don't see them or don't personally think they're problematic.

I don't care if people see me as a hypocrite or not. What you see isn't always the whole story. If you think I'm doing a bad job, do what I always tell you to do. Go run it up the flag pole. If you decide not to, like usual, then you're just wasting your breath (or knuckley-joints) on pointing out what a terrible this-and-that I am. You can't troll me. I can take a beating, and I've got no ego to deflate. It's your problem if you can't take a semi-serious jokey post. Really only takes one "you lose" to send you on a rampage, huh?

Oh, edited to add: In before "wow, what a long post, you must be really angry, huh?!" :D

Edit again: Also your post makes it seem like you don't know what non sequitur is. The whole part about me being desperate for human contact, that was the non sequitur. You came up with that out of nowhere and it doesn't apply, especially considering that I'm anti-social to the point that teaming in MMOs is something I have to avoid most of the time. So guess again!
