We're investigating, have been for about 50 mins. Not DDoS, looking like DNS. More phone calls are being made.

So its not the brat from last week but ar** internet on their side :dizzy:

Good means I dont need to change my password for a least a month . You should always change your password after an attack just to make sure even if its only a DDoS.

I change mine every three months anyhow, should see the list I have to keep up with, it's a whole notebook just for four games :/ (Don't keep them online, and put them on something flammable if you have to erase it in a hurry. Also keep lighters around.)

    Sounds like paranoia, it's not.
You've already doomed yourself just by writing them down! Someone will eventually break into your house, kill you, and steal all your MMO stuff using your notebook of secrets for sure. Real KGB keeps password locked inside mind!
It's not just my mmo stuff, it's my HDD encryption pws, my OS pws, my alarm passwords, Garage door (had to change that twice as my ex came back within a day of leaving, and then again when somehow someone guessed it, nothing was taken), SIM pin and Cell OS pin. It's a good habit to change your passwords, never know when someone wrote it down or saw you use it. Really helps prevent identity theft or unauthorized access. To this day I have some weird china account trying to gain access to my GW2 and SWTOR accounts (the latter someone DID, disabled my keyfob generator and ran up enough store charges to empty my debit account, thankfully Bioware was understanding and immediately refunded it and locked the account until I could regain access). Had someone find my wallet once and try to buy things with it, they took that and the money and left everything else. (Hospital had called me to inform me they had it, and then the cops to inform them they had video of the card thief).

People think it's pessimistic to always think of the possibilities and take them into consideration, I say that's how I have way less terrible stupidity stories than all of my friends.
I just don't leave my room except to scavenge food in the kitchen or go to the bathroom and occasionally shower. No one can steal your things if they don't know you exist -and- you're staring at everything you own around the clock.

Oh hey, the launcher is back up. Lesse if my desire to play from four hours ago is still lingering...

    Snark never dies.
