I am down for this! I know Alex is super busy with being awesome! Haha. Perhaps I'll email you about this, get a role call and figure out best way to do it. Do a kinda buy your ticket thing....and then after special fruit punch!
A collage of CO characters is definitely something I could get behind.
Imagine if we got him to do a champions of Champions collage. A huge piece of in game characters! I know I'd pitch in for my part! Bacon in the background, Ratty up front, a few flyers....the more I think about the cooler it sounds.
hmm well I guess I can try to figure out the way to do this. I figure minimum 10 folks, I have to figure out how much to charge per character, but I'm guessing they don't like discussion of that on the forums, so I'll do that on my Deviant art, when I have the details worked out, I'll post there, and link here!

I would certainly be interested in this. Always love the work you do, especially if I'm in it :P
I used to use Photoshop, but I've moved over to Manga Studio 5.
What difficulties are you having?
For the longest time, I used Hi-Fi Color for comics as my method for coloring, but now I do it differently. You can look for tutorials online, but it's usually hit and miss, this one though rocks:
It's long and complicated to get through at first, took me some time, but now I find it's the most efficient and pleasant way for me to work. I still use Hi-Fi techniques to do flats, but for shadows I use the Tony Cliff method and for highlights a combo of the two.
That tutorial is not linked from his main site, so I would suggest you download and save it, just in case it disappears.
I can try to answer some questions, but it might take me awhile to get back to you.
I am having trouble with getting different shades or tones to enhance texture. No matter how hard I try, it ends up looking monotonous. I am also on deviant art btw.

You can see the deviations and understand the problems better.

Cool, I checked out your stuff. Nice ideas for the costume contest.
My advice would be to keep on drawing and practicing, draw from life, draw from your imagination, just draw, draw and draw.
For coloring, I would suggest choosing three tones, middle, shadow and highlight and just use those three colors, you want to build form. Find a tutorial for light and shadow, it will most likely be the ball example, but that's where everyone starts.
And have fun, and I think I mentioned keep on drawing.
Cool, which character? And you're welcome! I had that poster up on my wall until my cat recently decided to take a swipe at it...
Red Shadow upper left by the hero with Bug wings. Mine sadly has never been on a wall it is still rolled up waiting to be framed. o.O I really do mean to get around to that.
YAY, another professional artist showing of is work...man these are good:eek:.
I thought the one with Captain Paragon and Defender clashing was pretty intresting, never thought someone would take 2 iconic heros like those and have them fight.
Did you just call Statesmen "Captain Paragon", and this fight would be over very fast, a over patriotic meta-human world War II Vet, with Incarnate powers from the Well of Furries.

A Richboy who witnesses the battle of the detroit in childhood, and decided to make a tech suit.
How can I commision my own art? Do you have an email, Deviant art page, website? How do you accept payments for commisions? What are your rates?
I have for some time wanted more art for Kristy then just her Chibi, and perhaps some art done of Malennia, Kheldia's Grace, Kiva The Cyborg, maybe even Some of my Nemesis Alts (yes I made characters of my nemesises for rp purpouses)
