Podcast anyone?

Anyone interest in setting up a champions online and beyond podcast with me? I've been looking for a champions podcast and I haven't found one so I'd like to start one. I'd rather not do it alone though since it's more dynamic with more people.

I'm wanting to get one or two co-hosts to do the show with me. I don't have much in experience with hosting podcastsoso any experience you bring in that area would be good but it's not required since we can always learn.

To apply give your in game name, how old you are, what type of podcast you would like to see this become, your experience with the game and champions in general, and then we'll go from there. I'm not asking anyone to meet any requirements for this except that they be respectful and mostly mature.

Please either apply here or message me. Feel free to also offer any tips or assistance here even if you're not planning on applying.

    There use to be one but they stopped ages ago. I use to listen to them of course. I can't say I have any interest in running podcasts, I am not that organized, as is, and a weekly podcast trying to look for new material to talk about would be difficult, though a podcast dedicated to dispensing lore and talking about how it might effect Champions Online wouldn't be a bad thing.

    While the new tutorial is coming, if my info is right and the team is new and inexperienced, it's going to be a while before big news stuff for a weekly podcast becomes a thing. So you might have to look at alternative Champions stuff to fill the time.
    Champions Online player since September of 2008, forumite since February of 2008.

    Champions lore and new content is going to be a part of it. But I'm going to be also helping new players by giving info to help them get started and have more fun playing. Also planning on talking about existing content and where to do it, why to do it, and the impact it had/has on champions and also throw out some old school info about it. Like how some of the bosses in serpent lantern used to be good farming spots for items, that kind of stuff. I've run into plenty of high lol characters that don't know much about the content in the game and I think a podcast could bring light to content a little.


    Planning on having a little bit of everything in the podcast and it's main purpose is to help those playing weither new or old, to have more fun playing and maybe learn something : )

    It's to early in the morning for me to rewrite stuff so I'll copy what I wrote yesterday.

    To each thier own : ). I'm only hoping to help other players enjoy the game more. Now that I'm awake here's a bit more info on this podcast.

    The podcast with probably consist of what we did this week in champions. Then news and/or anything interesting on the fourms. Then a guide, info, or tips on a part of the game like a mission chain, crafting, alert, ect. Then a segment to talk about anything that might cross our minds regarding champions, then end the show with some champions lore.

    It's subject to change but I think it'll be a good show. Plus it's a way for people to get info they might not otherwise go looking for : )

    I have a couple of the books myself, but not a huge resource of knowledge. Taking part in a podcast could be fun though.

    Well hopefully I'll be able to get it going. Podcasts with only one host kind of suck though imho so we'll see.

    I'd would pip in as I love the sound of my own voice. Sadly most dont share my love. They are like thats your accent...SERIOUSLY?

    That's why I asked. I immediately just pictured an audio version of forum arguments and wasn't sure why anybody would want to listen to that...

    I'm glad you'd check it out : ). I'd like a co-host though before I start. The podcast would be better than with only me. Maybe then, once we're up and going, we'll set up a patron. I have a couple people to ask but if anyone is interested past let me know.

    This podcast idea is awesome ...seriously just imagine all of us talking to each other for real not just on forums. Heck I'd argue with anyone on voice..( you all know I sound like a Dutch man anyway ..well the ones that have heard me on vent ).

    We should make a list of peeps willing to do some chatty chat :D

    You would probably be disappointed. The only thing we've ever argued about is something that Smackwell probably wouldn't even be allowed to bring up on a podcast. Other than that it would just be like

    There was a podcast for this game a few years ago that was really good. I think it was called POC or something like that. You should look it up.
