I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but wouldn't it be cool if we could get custom sidekicks at lvl 40, it would work similar to the nemesis system but without the henchmen option.
We could choose the power, create the costume and their personality. So how this would work mission wise, is maybe you could rescue them or something, and then get a power slot or device slot called summon sidekick. But that's my suggestion, what do you guys think?

I think this has the potential to be a nice tie in with the nemesis system if it was ever revamped.

Or it could equally work as an addition to the system. I think I'd like to have them give us missions or send us mails or something like that or just accompany us on missions.

I would probably end up creating "sidekicks" which look like my other characters so I can have them fighting alongside each other

So long as it's not a requirement I can see this being pretty great.

However it also has the potential to flop terribly if the sidekicks suck.

I think they should be similar to neverwinter companions, where the character can gear them and even level them up.

It wouldn't be a requirement, only if you want one, and it would be awesome if you could gear them up, maybe have sidekick specific gear

Neverwinter's companions would even level up, slowly gaining new abilities and perks as they grow.

This is CO not NW, so i dont know how far they would go if they ever considered this idea.

I would love custom sidekicks, maybe even 4. Then I can do alerts alone unless they suck like the nemesis :P

Better yet I want to log in 5 of my heroes at once, :P the computer can control 4 of them. Have no idea how that would work though. They could act like the pets.

Its been discussed before in GREAT detail of what the majority of players want that have spoken out.

Purchase a sidekick flat out, no ranking up since power is based on gear, and is bound to account on equip.

Basically up to 4 sidekicks you can have out at a time. The number allowed out is based on empty team slots.

Each one with a tailored outfit. Fully customizable (not including auras because they ruined that)

5 powers to choose from including a passive and travel power. A maintain, a full charge, and a click power.

Can equip player gear into them to increase their stats and effectiveness. This would encourage more lockbox sales and more Justice gear farming.
