So it seems that Paramount and Hasbro are jelly of MCU...

And now Paramount wants their own TF Movieverse.

Still don't know how they intend to have it after in previous movies all things like TFs home planet, Matrix, the Fallen and Decepticons were all destroyed.
Seems like Bay left nothing alive of the old mythos to build a universe with it.

But at least bonus points for trying...

Well this is the only news that makes the new costume set timely and not about thirty years too late, so there's that.

Domestic and worldwide box office sales of Transformer is $3,756,900,423
I don't think they are jealous of anything with a production budget for five movies holding under a billion.

That's going to be tricky. Considering that Marvel produced all their "Transfomers" universe comics.

They were licenced, so all rights are Hasbro's.

There's only one character from Marvel TFs not owned by Hasbro, and nobody misses her anyway.

    Nobody sane, at least.

Everybody is jelly of the MCU but none of them seem to want to do the work that Marvel did to achieve it.

It was revealed back in March that Paramount Pictures is looking at expanding the Transformers cinematic universe. Previously, I Am Legend‘s Akiva Goldsman signed on to work with Michael Bay, Steven Spielberg, and Lorenzo di Bonaventura to create a franchise writer’s room to develop both sequels and spinoff features.

I'll pass. I'm not interested in seeing another potential Bayformers.

Oh goodie, more movies where Optimus acts like a total ***** in and/or dies again. This ground is being trampled on way too much.

Dead Prime is better than Bay Prime...

I miss the days when he would allow himself to be destroyed because he couldn't save a few video game characters.

I think the biggest difference IDW ever did with their Optimus Prime was making him a competent leader, not-an-emo, and most important - NOT dying.

Unfortunately after Michael Bay there's nothing left to build TF movieverse. He either killed or blew up everything there.

If Paramount made a reebot, hired Simon Furman or James Roberts, or John Barber, to write it... Maybe. But they won't.
