So, I just got my Grimoire to level 40, and I'm looking for a good wizard build that freeforms what I liked about the build, but does things differently.
My character is actually a port of my old D&D Conjuration Wizard Silas, and what I'd like is some build suggestions to mesh archatypical Champions mage with traditional D&D Conjuration. I'm also not really sold on AoPM, though I know a Lot of players love it. I'm thinking about maybe a pet build, but I wanted to hear what you guys could come up.
Here's what I definitely want in my build:
Some pets, specificly the fire swords, and the runes, preferably more than one set. Pets are pretty straight forward conjuration I think.
A circle, because thats how Champions rolls
I'm also very cool with dipping into other sets, though I want to make sure Silas has decent synergy for doing so. I'd also prefer to stay hybrid or support, although if someone has a good DPS build, I'd look at that too.

Just flipped around a few abilities, but kept what you had in spec. I'm a bit bummed to be dropping the runes, but I know realistically that they're never really going to perform for group raids and such. Oh, and I already had Radiant Summon on another char, so I dropped that in favor of a beastie.
Do you think this build is viable? I don't know how well MSA will mesh with it, I'm not used to using it.
I'm also going to tuck away the fire/ice mage build for a port I'm doing of my Pandaran Frost Mage
Ya could consider adding another pet, just to make Commander spec more relevant (prob would get rid of Eld Shield first to make room). If ya keep Eld Shield, though, I'd pass on Imbue W/ Power- its effect is pretty weak for AoPM.
