Gunslinger uses a 2 gun animation and hits more often but generates less energy with each shot. Steady Shot uses a 1 gun animation and shoots slower but generates more energy with each shot.

The actual rate of both damage and energy building for both powers is the same, only the chunking differs. Also, if you're playing munitions, energy building is unlikely to be a major concern, so take whichever you like the looks of better.

Steady Shot can and will prevent the swift activation of other powers. The timing on it is just off and if you are a fast player you will end up waiting too long for something to activate while the animation is trying to play through. I don't recommend using it.

Other than the above mentioned is their advantages if you want to take them.

Steady Shot can pile up increases to your chance to Crit on targets but this is not really that useful. You can easily do better in so many ways it is not really all that worth the consideration of the points.

Gunslinger on the other hand can be made AoE. That is ok... I guess... It is not that useful except maybe as an early way to grab all aggro or something but obviously you are not just going to stand around spamming your EB so yeah...

Not to mention that Steady Shot itself can consume the buff.
