Quite some time ago our Super Group ran out of bank slots (not hard to do, right?). We can't pay for additional ones, so I find myself getting ready to start a new SG purely to get more storage space. Since CN is looking at Quality of Life issues at the moment I wondered how many other players find themselves needing to have characters in multiple groups just for additional storage? Maybe if there are enough of us they'll be willing to take our money and give us more bank slots
i dont think SG's for storage were ever the devs plan, it is a player thought of workaround. just like multiple accounts for additional characters
so i doubt they will want to change this.
I keep our guild bank organized and don't treat it like a dumpster. I don't feel there are enough valuable item to warrent a second guild. If Cryptic really wants to add bank slots for sale for those that have hoarding issues, sure. They can have fun with that.
The problem is moreso the items that are a) useful, and b) can't stack:
Triumphant Recoveries (I literally have a few pages of these).
Servitor Serums (same)
Anything ending with "4-pack"
(unbound) Permanent devices
Healing patches (stacks, but at some low number)
Special event consumables (in general)
Fix those and my storage requirements will probably be instantly halved.
Yeah they could somewhat address this problem and help w/ QoL if they either allowed more things to stack and/or increased the max stack number on various common items or consumables.
The problem is, though, that many consumables have 'charges', so stacking can't be enabled at a practical level. Perhaps they could allow for the same item to stack if the # charges remaining matched, at least (but then as one is used in the stack for a charge then it would have to 'pop off' the stack and you'd need the space for that).
This is a problem? How much crap are people holding onto that this is a problem? I horde all the enhancements that drop while playing and manage to fit all of those on just three characters.

I don't keep that kind of garbage in our guild vault. There are a few consumables, but mostly XP / global / whatever leveling boosts. Chances are, if it's something I have a ton of, so does everyone else.
Oh man, be glad we have unlimited mail. Sto used to, then 107 players broke the game via the mail system [or so is the theory, it was never confirmed- but they did get a lovely perk title for having their accounts seized for a while when they fixed the game-breaking bug they all had. ], and they fixed it there so it caps. NW started with a mail cap. I hit it on both oh, at least once every 2 weeks. Bloody annoying.
I may have a hoarding problem, I'm a bit of a packrat. I've got 3 modding characters, and share 4 mini sgs with friends, and I've.. basicly filled them to capacity with crafted afigs, unlocks, henchies, summonables, consumables, event items, rare drops, things to sell, and prealert gear/ weaponskins...

Yup, it's a problem for actual active supergroups that have a number of players in them. We could do with more SG bank slots.

Yup, I know a number of SG officers/leaders from different SGs who think this. Your experiences may differ of course, Sterga.
