I'm an avid costumer, enough to have bought around 300 slots or so - however, upon reaching slot 257, making a costume for it, and trying to switch into it - it isn't activated. Instead, the costume is changed to my very first costume slot. I made more costumes, but every one after #256 is looped - 258 is my 2nd slot, 259 is my 3rd slot, so on and so forth. This is...very bad. Please tell me this is NOT how this is supposed to work. I've still got about 35 or so more slots that are unused, and this makes them...worthless.
Ticket submitted and all, but...yeah. I really hope this isn't just a "welp, you're screwed, haha" thing.
I would be very surprised if they were to fix an issue that a too small of a minority suffers from. Almost more than the number of costume slots you have. Hope this DOES get resolved.
Considering the special nature of the number 256 in computing, the most likely fix would be to change the size of the variable that stores the pointers to costumes. I don't think that would be hard to do or would impact things a lot at all. But maybe it would. Still it would probably be simple enough that they might do it if the bug was actually reported.
Isn't there an in-game bug report feature? If I were the OP I would use it. They can't fix a bug they are not tracking, after all.
