I cannot log into the game

The problem is that, I cannot log into champions online, I have my settings set so that when i click Champions online in arc and then click play it goes to the launcher. Then if its as to patch it will, they it will say play or start when its done and i go into the game. I go on earlier on the pts server then i loged off to go on the live server, but its now saying that i have too many attempts and to try again later. Even though i successfully loged in only twice, I dont know whats wrong.

    Humm, do you not remaber your password or so?, and well looking at that chuold only mean one thing that well, I hate to scare you but.

    it sounds like someone has been trying to get into your account, and if this is the case CHANGE your password, too many attempts basically means someone/something or even you and you just been putting the password in wrong, has been doing it over and over and won't let you in.

    So best bet, change your password to something you'll always remaber

    I'm having a similar issue: once I login, it tells me that it's patching but doesn't actually do any patching. Thus, while I can technically login, I can't actually start the game.

    try turning off, on demand patching under options at login screen, also run force verify.

    blackwolf,
    first make sure your caps lock was off.
    Password is case sensitive.
    and it doesn't take many to get- too many in short time.


    instead of logging in through arc. go to your games folder and login using the eXe file

    under cryptic>champions> live
