Launcher not working

So apparently I crashed due to some "hip" file and I'm totally going to blame my character's wide hips for that one when I can get back in game. Because it would seem that my character is still logged into the game but my launcher is currently stuck on constantly trying to patch something.. Anyone know what to do?

    Shut it down. Shut it down now.

    Options>On-demand patching. Uncheck that box.

    It is actually off. xD I never had it checked in the first place.

    1. get right out of the game.to the desktop.

    2. this time when you login, do force verify first.

    3. then login on a different character,even if you have to create one. Because if you are stuck in an area, you need to get booted out of the game.
