Would sure be nice if they actually did something that PROMOTED teamplay. Here's some ideas:
    • Give long Adventure Packs / Comic Series resources that fairly compensate for the time invested, compared to other methods of gaining resources. And with a 4-mission-per-day limit, it's already capped. (i.e.: Whiteout, 10g for completing the mission fully, Aftershock 50g for completing the mission fully, etc.)
    • Instead of having resources from kills divided up among the team members, it should be multiplied such that each team member gets the same as if they were a player running it solo.
    • Increase the respawn times of Cosmic bosses (except for Mega D) and give them better rare reward percentages.
    • Give teamplay PvP queues a 2000 Q daily mission for completing 3 matches. Win a match and gain bonus resources or questionite (not Acclaim, completely delete/convert acclaim from the game FFS already...)

And it would be really REALLY nice if they actually started making some new explorable content

*looks over at EvilTaco* There, I said I'd say something when I got a moment. I had a moment to reply to something current.

No sarcasm. I am legitimately happy to see that they're fixing stuff like this. I had thought that we entered a period where things like this were "under the radar" or "buried too deep in spaghetti code". Gives me hope for the future.

Also the way they did it lets me know that they know certain things about the game and its players, and that they have a viewpoint regarding these sorts of things that I agree with.

Some people are only impressed by big chunks of colorful content. I'm satisfied with things like this.

It's gotta suck when no matter what the effort, they're met with "but what about all this other stuff?" Geez, give them their props when they do something right.

I for one was very pleased at this fix. People often don't appreciate how gamebreaking bugs can be. That it was addressed quickly and quietly shows that Cryptic is paying attention.

That was a passingly decent troll job there, Finn.

Except Eviltaco beat you to it last month and wasn't trolling, so, this feels a little weak.

As you can see in the pic, I've been hit by plenty of anti-haircraft weaponry already. I could use the plasma beans, though - makes for a good hot bowl of primordial soup.

Well yeah generally if they were to actually try fixing CO they would have to start by fixing all the bugs and buggy powers that don't work. However I don't expect there to be much more bug fixing from this fix.

Whoa, i'm so glad they fixed that! That device ended up being used to promote teamplay and cooperation. Just like that horrible plasma beam, ugh! I mean what were they thinking, a power that becomes stronger when you use it with others with tactics? Yuck! A device that makes your friends stronger so you coordinate pre-boss buffs before it? Yuck!

If I wanted to play with others, I would play an MMO instead. And if I wanted tactics, planning and thinking, I'd play an RPG.

    Oh wait.

    Oops.

Completely breaking an encounter is "promoting team play and cooperation"?? More like "promoting doing what you want, even if it might destabilize the game servers for everyone". Seriously, when you're doing over a billion points of damage, there's no way you're not thinking that's a glitch.

And leaving unfixed glitches in the code only makes things worse, because usually what's breaking isn't what you think is breaking. Until one day the whole place comes crashing down, and then the programmers are asses-and-elbows while everyone else comes screaming to the forums.

Ahahahah wait, over one billion? Ookay. I take my sarcastic post back. There's teamplay and then there's breaking the game, lol. Didn't know it was that bad.

Eh, it's understandable... after enough seemingly random nerfs, I can see a person developing a nerf trigger reflex. Fortunately for all involved, it was actually quite broken this time.

Fixing bugs is good. maybe next time they'll adjust the camera angle for larger bosses in the Bank Robbery Alert so we can see what they're saying.

I've already noticed a couple of cutscenes in Dragon Age: Inquisition where the camera doesn't adjust for a Qunari player character's height, so don't feel bad, CN. It happens to everybody.

Is that hope or delusions of grandeur?

    Only time will tell.

A good start would be fixing some known bugs that have been around for ages. Simple things with the powers like incorrect or misleading descriptions on powers, powers that their ranks don't work properly (i.e.: Aspect of the Bestial) and even making existing powers more useful (i.e.: giving force detonation the reverse polarity advantage).

Even when it comes to devices, there's a lot of other quality of life advancements, especially with the underpowered devices. Underpower AND with an excessively long cooldown.

Even more basic things, such as reward loot tables and mission rewards that incentivize appropriately to the time & effort investment go without change.

    So... We'll see.

Thus far, not impressed. Glad you are though, kudos.

    I'm impressed.

They fixed the bug, without breaking anything else. That's a big step in the right direction.

Highlighting for emphasis of clarification. You will note that [that is not needed in the game] is not present in there at any point. I'm kind of interested to know where you thought you saw it.

I don't see any suggestion of whether or not what buxom mentioned was regarded as more important, just something that she would hope to see.

Topic has to do with bug / balance fixes with relevance to CN's performance doing such. We've been on topic so far.

Care to explain how "what's really needed in the game" in an objective sense translates to what she described being "more important" than the Draysha Pistol fix, or are you reading too much into things and nitpicking for no apparent good reason?

Oh let me clarify. Buxom's post was totally on topic. However yours, where you once again try to argue about how to argue, was not. :)

I wasn't arguing about "how to argue". I just thought you were misconstruing what buxom was getting at. Again, nowhere was it ever mentioned that it was considered more important, just one of the important fixes that need to be seen ingame, and one that I agree with, since the trade system is exploitive and gives opportunity to ingame fraud.

We'll still on topic. We're still talking about bugs, balances and fixes. Try again.

Part in orange is what you claim the opposite is being said. Part in yellow, if you include the "one of" part, is what I'm understanding seeing buxom's post.

Topic is about bug fixes and balances and hasn't been exclusively restricted to the Draysha Pistol fix so far. I'm addresing what buxom said regarding a fix that's highly needed in the game. I'm pretty much on topic. Bickering started because you accused me of being off-topic (like it hasn't happened before) when I wasn't.
