Stealth Hawkwing Question

This is probably a dumb question, but is the Holofield 1 weapon on the Stealth Hawkwing what allows it to cloak? And if so, can it be transferred to other ships or upgraded? Can it be acquired by any other means than purchasing the Stealth Hawkwing in the Z store? Thanks.

    Yes.
    Yes, you may be spending some resources or questionite during the process though.
    No, however if you're lucky you may find people selling that "weapon" in auction house.

    Would you recommend picking up the holofield on a vehicle? I like it thematically, but have no idea what function it would serve. Does the stealth actually stay on during combat? Or is it a waste of a weapon slot?

    I don't find it that useful on my naginata... I replaced it with other better weapons. I am not sure if it actually does give stealth... The info box says avoidance and dodge... But I may be mistaken.

    Yet imho, you had do better with other weapons on that slot. I sold my field M2 a couple of weeks back for 100g. It's pretty cheap and you can give it a shot if you want.

    And yes the ability stays on during combat. But the stealth doesn't, despite the color tinting.

    P.S. weapon is also available on Naginata breeds in mark 2. Price of naginata ranges from 6 - 12 keys.

    Okay, thanks. Still trying to figure vehicles out. I bought my first one recently off the Auction House, and it was stripped of weapons. Have no idea if any particular ones are better or worse than. My only thought on them is that I'll want at least one decent single target weapon and one decent AoE weapon. I've upgraded the razor hawkwing to 2 though so it has 8 total slots, including 4 weapon slots.

    Of the available vehicle weapons, which ones would you rank as the best and for what reason?
