Mine is 2 minutes... I evaded 3 force smash attacks.. Died on the last one though.

Block every wave and heal yourself as much as you can afterwards.

If you are on a very squishy toons who could not survive even blocking or your self heal is not enough, a TP like superspeed helps. Like every time before it starts, just run away from the boss. It's a valid tactic, I'm using it on my ranged speedsters.

The problem is the presence of TWO destroids. When I focus on one , the other one blasts cuz I am not concentrating on the other.

I've gone through entire runs without dying once. However, my experience is that these guys do more damage than Mechanon himself. Once you get to him it's much more just a race against the clock.

I can block and recover on my own from multiple zaps and energy waves while attempting to hold agro on two. The problem is if I lose enrage for any reason I can't recover them or regain stacks at all. Seems to bug against these bosses.

I was getting killed outside the blast area.

Blast would go off, big blue bubble in front of me then a few seconds after that I would get hit and die.

thn we got to the Boss fight, where the amount of people meant I had major keyboard lag.
    hit button something happens eventually,

invisible walls when trying to move,
rubberbanding so I never knew where I was.

movement when TP was turned off and , no I didn't have R on.
I think i managed to be in range and shoot him twice.

I followed the advice. This time, as soon as a destroids uses his force blast I shifted to target him, as soon as the other does, I switch to him. I only died once and that was because I miscalculated and flew too close. Right after one used, the other used, so I died while moving to the other. The good thing is that my damage isn't too high... Or I pull aggro and get eye beamed to death.

If you use a sentinel 20k+ HP super tank you could mob as many as you want up and never die. You probably wont even need to block 24/7 when you get the stacks of the darkness shield 10 all you need to do is keep up senti's mastery and dots on all the mobs with the other buffs.

Good to know you improved your performance. This is one tough event finale.

If I'm using my regular level 40 Impulse, I die instantly against their AOE attack unless I can manage to block... it overwhelms both PFF strength and health, though if using my "free" until shuttle I can actually survive a blast due to it's 13K health, which allows me to back off and heal.

Get some Destroid Surge Protectors. With one of those I can take two blasts without blocking. I take about 4k each, though. With a block, it's down to about 600.

The Thunder Clap and that other sonic hold are the things that usually get me killed. They do about as much damage as the Blast waves, and then hold you for about six seconds. Sometimes they even follow it with a another huge attack. The melee attacks are pretty hard, too, and don't have the shtick tell.

OK I fudged a little and rounded up my shuttle's health is 12569. As far as equipment 2 x Hull Plating 4, Enemy Hull Scanner 4 for support, and the standard Heavy Cannon Mark 1 for the weapon, haven't picked up a second weapon yet.

Well most of my ATs are squishy and sustain oriented... They get one shot easily... So I fight only in vehicles.

I do fairly well depending on what toon im playing. If im on my Soldier, or on my bike. I generally stay just inside 100ft so i can shoot, and take a few steps back when they charge up.

If im on a toon that requires fighting close up, i target one and look at the other. That way, you can get the "boom" prompt from the one you're targeting, and you can get the visual cue from the one you're looking at. It also helps to get a pattern down; near as i can tell, they slam the ground at somewhat fixed intervals, so i gauge it off of that. I take a mental note of who pops one first, and how soon the other one pops his, so i'll know if have to block again soon or just maintain the block/distance or whatever.

I almost never die from the ground slams at this point, unless i get knocked up and the other one comes before i have time to recover and block. It's usually some other attack that kills me, but i've yet to figure out what it actually is or if it has any cues to let me know it's coming.

If they stick their arms out to the sides with their hands open, they're doing ThunderClap. It can one-shot most people. Block, and keep blocking after it finishes, because it applies a hold that you won't see until you release your block. If you block for it's full duration, it won't affect you.

I think I heard that there's some kind of chain lightning attack, no idea if it's telegraphed at all.

That might be the Foom attack. But with the way it works it hits the target, and random peeps..

Yes there's a Chain Lightning-like attack, it works like Electrocute (Paralyze main target) but hits about a metric ton harder.

Well I finally made it through a run without dying at all. Killed some spiders and a LOT of destroids (in fact, I unlocked the destroids perk just from this open mission on a lvl 16 )

I haven't been really counting, but when I don't have my AD active, restore half my hp or forgot to block that's usually when I die. Not to mention the huge long holds followed by the energy wave aoe attack.

The longest I think I remember was 5 mins or so? Except on Mechanon himself, I don't think anyone dies from him.
