Hullo y'all! So here's a little 0:55 second video showing off the Capeless Cape Glide--just call it
[Glide]!
So I made this same topic a while back and got some agreement from a few folks, but I'm here to try again. I'd totally spend 475 Zen for a flight power that uses the Cape Glide animations. Cheers for taking a look!

Nice find, Bronx!
Also happen to love the fact that you found that in-game, Bronx. Thumbs up and high-five for pulling that off for your point! Also... Price is Right music. Totally.
Glide on down!
I'll let myself out
But yea, there should be Capeless Glide option.

Nothing worse than having arm wings, or under arm wings, that are completely useless.

Eh sure, but it seems like too simple of a thing for them to ask us more money/Zen for.

True, but the demand for this power seems high enough to where they could make some money from it.
Like so many other stuff they could have been making few bucks in the past years.
Could.

You would think that would be enough incentive to do it, but I guess not.
Please please please!

He only question is what happens if you use the capeless guide for whatever reason on a character with a cape. I would propose that the answer be have it dangle as with the regular flight powers, relative to one's motion.

I Approve!
I already have a hero with "bat flaps" attached to her arms.
While I prefer the original Cape Glide to give us the option to be capeless if you don't actually wear a cape, I am still willing to throw money at Cryptic for a new capeless glide travel power JUST so I can finally have the option.
Also, I would love to see more costume pieces of wings/flaps for the arms.
We have perfect costume parts for such a power and no good power to use them with. I have several characters that would definitely use this so i will buy such if we are given it.

Agreed. In fact- this would up the use of the power by those of us who bought it not realizing the insta-cape was mandatory. Then when other players see you using those under arm wings properly they'll want that power for concept A or concept Z and spend their zen on this. I'd imagine getting rid of the insta-cape would take 1 person a day or so at most to get this done. Think about all the income for the small amount of effort needed.
Quality of Life upgrades to powers are equally important as new powers. This is an economical win for CN if they can get this done. Minimal effort + free advertising = extra income.

I want this so much on several of my heroes.
In all honesty, they should just add a 0pt advantage to Cape Glide to hide the cape. Call it "natural glider" or something...
On the same topic... I was really disappointed that the Cape Glide power doesn't support minicapes...
