Looking at plenty of mitigation, self heal, crit, huge energy gen, and threat... at least that I can see.

Let me know if I have enough Threat gen here or whatever I'm missing please. :smile:

    Looks pretty good. Having 2 regular heals w/ Siphoning Strikes avail strikes me as really excessive, though. I'd take out at least BCR (dmg penalty is counter-productive when siphoning already disables crits w/ the combo- ya dun wanna nerf ur damage too much).

    And unranked EBB isn't really adding anything to the build atm. Ya could replace it w/ Mental Storm + CS adv for a good dps/threat increase, w/ a great debuff to boot.

    Can save points by unranking Masterful Dodge. MD is pretty pointless to rank since R1 already pushes ya past 100% dodge; higher ranks only add a paltry amount of avoidance that doesn't really matter.

    Also, since TK Eruption is ur only real spam-able AoE, I'd take it to R2 at least. Would also prob take Ego Surge to R2 so it lasts longer (and that feeds in to siphoning strikes procs, so it also helps w/ survival).

    Ur gonna be knock-prone using this build w/ the SS setup as is, so I'd prob go for a Str PSS or Con PSS + Dex SS setup (STR/Dex/Con w/ gearing Ego to 70 for Ego Reverb, or CON/Dex/Ego_Int).

    Lastly, pairing Guardian w/ Warden is a bit wasteful (on builds that rely on crits, at least- which is most of them) since offense and defense have a DR on their effects. Pairing Warden w/ Vindicator would prob be better here and net you better crit-based dmg.

    bah, and I just missed one obvious thing while fretting over the details- I assumed EB Annihilation was in the build already.

    Yeah EBA is the big 'finisher' for TK Blades (its version of a 'rupture' ala single blade). Taking out one of the reg heals, I'd replace it w/ that and find a way to rank it up some.

    Took out TK Erupt(charge) - replaced with Hurricane(Maintain)
    Took out EBB and put in Typhoon - Have heard that's a big hitter for damage
    made some of your other suggested changes and threw in Ego Storm with adv that allows it to attack on its own.

    Build notes:

    -Since Defiance is a key component of your energy management, and is often triggered erratically depending on the enemy's attack frequency, I would recommend talenting a bit of END to hold the extra fuel when you get back-to-back returns from Defiance and Ego Reverberation.

    -Hurricane and Typhoon would neither benefit from Mental Discipline nor trigger Ego Reverberation. You wouldn't be able to use them much before bottoming-out your energy.

    -Flowcyto's suggestions of Mental Storm and Ego Blade Annihilation are very good. They both offer significant increases in damage (and therefore, threat).

    -Your CON/DEX/EGO setup would definitely work (especially if you plan to use Vigilante secondaries), but you could also consider STR/CON/EGO and just gear for +critical strike. The cost discount from Physical Peak softens Mental Discipline's lack of energy return, and the critical severity from Brutality gels nicely with Siphoning Strikes. Plus you get Juggernaut to feed the Best Defense/Aggressive Stance loop. Gear-wise, I would focus on CON and EGO.

    -Added Ego Blade Frenzy as an AoE. Its reach leaves a lot to be desired, but its damage is solid enough to run it as your primary attack when your health bar isn't in need of Siphoning Strikes. Could be replaced with Telekinetic Eruption or Telekinetic Maelstrom if you prefer a ranged (but expensive) option. A Psionic Accelerator device would also provide a wide-range AoE option.

    -This version doesn't have Emerging Nightmares, but it is a nice little debuff. You could knock out a rank from Conviction, Ego Surge, or Mental Storm if you wanted to shoehorn it back in.

    -This build will generate a respectable amount of threat, but there are other setups that can pull agro from it. I added Dark Transfusion to provide backup energy management if Defiance is not being triggered regularly, and its self-debuff doesn't interfere with Siphoning Strikes. Circle of Arcane Power would also work, but I wanted to stick to your Darkness sub-theme. If you don't mind using the occasional energy builder in those situations, you could swap Dark Transfusion for something else (Circle of Primal Dominion, Resurgence, Rebirth, Unbreakable, Lock 'n Load, et cetera).

    EBA is still a good idea- Typhoon doesn't really mesh w/ the build in the same way and prob won't be as effective overall. Hurricane is a nice, easy AoE, but again it doesn't really mesh w/ the rest of the build.

    I'd prob keep TK Eruption in there if ya still using Ego Reverb and Mental Discipline (instead of the Wind powers). Its a decent enough AoE (good reach, spam-able), but ya want to tap-spam or short-charge it usually so ya dun knock everything away and out of your and the group's range. It doesn't need to mow every mob down- just hold a trash mob's attention long enough while you are focus-targeting. TK Maelstrom can also work, as can EB Frenzy (though one is a cd, and the other has a shorter reach).

    Also, Mental Storm was my recommendation, not Ego Storm :x


    Carrion's build is also a good one. I believe that's the one he tested out vs. some world bosses and was impressed w/ its healing/performance.

    Main thing I'd suggest is put Shadow of Doubt in there if you're aiming for Frosty.

    That one was a goofy Seraphim variant with Spirit Reverberation. I haven't used it in a while, though, since it got hit harder than most builds by the Dodge/Crit revamp. Here's a link to that old thread if the OP is interested. It still contains (mostly) relevant information.

    I took CON pss for the knock and hold resistance
    I combined Warden/Vindicator and concentrated on crit chance and severity
    because of Carrion dropping EN adv from void shift, I figured that it wasn't that important for the
    role I am looking at on this build,,,... so I replaced void shift with EBD for the ego damage.
    Gearing was looking at EGO/DEX/CON
    Adv CS on 2 powers and CC on EBD along with the damage of the build and hard hitting EB Annihilation, that should allow me to hold agg pretty well.

    What do you think?

    EN adv on void shift (when not using Spirit Reverb) would mostly just be for the Fear- which is okay in itself as a minor damage debuff, but not a high priority to have either.

    Looking nice overall. Some minor things: Upper Hand in Warden likely doesn't work properly- skip it for Ruthless. Ya may also consider trading Mass Destruction (only affecting EB Frenzy atm, Mental Storm doesn't benefit from non-general crit% bonuses) for Offensive Expertise.

    At this point, ya may just want to go out and see how it performs.

    Deflection is an interesting choice. If you do decide to run with it, I would try to include one source of +Avoidance in your primary defense gear, to make that extra bit of dodge meaningful (a little extra Avoidance works well when Masterful Dodge is active, too). But if you decide its bonus is too small, Armored, Fuel My Fire, or Tough (even though Tough is bugged to give half its listed value) all have their individual appeal.

    I keep forgetting that Upper Hand is broken. Sorry if my including it caused any confusion. Old habit.

    I agree with Flowcyto that it looks ready to go. You'll get a better feel for stat distribution and minor adjustments after running it through some content.
