What keeps me from coming back?

A few folks who still dabbled here asked me if with the upcoming content addition and things starting to look up if Id be coming back to CO at least part time. If this new stuff is enough to set aside my frustration and bitterness with roots deep and wide spread.
I had to explain to them that in the end NOTHING can be added that will attract me back until that which was lost is restored to me.
For those who never caught a thread mentioning this back when it happened Ill spell it all out again.
After PWE took over the job of holding the umbrella they started a process of merging things like accounts into their big ol PWE thing.
Some of us happened to have from other games a PWE access, but because for example in my case, because I dont use the same forum handles from game to game, had a different handle attached to my PWE account for playing Blacklight Retribution. That is where this handle Skylyger comes from.
Prior to the event I was known here on CO forums as Sky_Tom_Car. which also happens to be the first part of my email I use for games.
Now I tried to get my CO account all merged in, but encountered endless issues due to having a prior PWE account attached to the email that was also attached to my CO account and billing information.
Eventually they reached that time where merging was no longer optional, and in the ensuing chaos they apparently lost my Champions Account data. I was told they could not restore to me my characters etc.
Ok fine I could live with that, not the first time in the wide world of MMOs I would have to survive a change of hands etc.
Happened to me on an old MOBA called Crime Craft I used to mess around in for pvp kicks to until they did the same thing, change of company hands, and my account data got lost in the shuffle.
No the breaking point wasnt the losing of it, accidents happen, tech is prone to doing all sorts of unexpected things etc.
No the reason I walked away from CO with so much bitterness it still keeps me keeping tabs and curious even if not really hopeful for a positive change, is that in both cases the companies refused to make it right.
In both cases not only was it a loss of time played, but Real Money spent into the game on unlocks, items, hide outs etc.
They refused to offer me any kind of reimbursement for what was lost, due entirely to their own merging and failure to preserve all account data.
In COs case they would of needed to offer me at least a few things Id bought like most of the old hide outs, and perhaps since they couldnt replace all the characters capped to 40 and the slots that went with them not to mention the items on them one can no longer really aquire and maybe something really shiny like a single free form silver slot just to say sorry man for all the frustration but we value your being a customer and want to say please hang around and keep giving us a chance.
Because frankly put I am not going to redo everything from scratch and rebuy everything I had bought because of a **** up on the companies side.
They could do the dream works of entire new world zones etc and it just wouldnt mean a thing to me because I have nothing to return to to play it with. My characters are dust in the wind, as is the money I spent on the game, and the company just didnt care enough about me as a customer or human being to try to do right by me and keep my faith in them to do just that.
Maybe I was truly unique or so small a percentage of players impacted in this way they just didnt see it as worth their time to make right. but in the end until they do offer a proper olive branch to this customer they wronged, dont expect me to talk up this game or encourage any to stick around with it. I wont be returning, and expect in spite of their best efforts at Cryptic North PWE will keep doing things to cost them players.

If you consider what I wrote a wall of text you must not read at all. I have clear spaces quite frequently through out my post.
All you do is prove yourself a fanboi with no interest in doing other then attacking those who differ from you in opinion based on personal bias rather then reason.
Thanks for the reasonable comment. Yeah honestly when the loss of my old forum handle occurred I barely had any reason to still post on these boards. But as the now passed angel of caine would often point out to others in my posts the hate was never at the game, but at the company that was failing its customers. And the rabid fanbois who like to keep their head in the sand and attack any critique of the game keeping up the all is fine lie to themselves even as the majority of people who came to CO also left after they burned through content and then finally saw the truth that it was a stagnant swamp with no real hope of growth on the horizon,
Glad you got your issue sorted out though it cost you going LTS. Something I might of done myself at launch time had not the great launch day FUBAR already started to show the light and the shiite that surrounded Viborea Bay being added only painted the way ever clearer.
By the time PWE came along, I was still hopeful, still saying hey maybe now we can have real things happen with a new power house in charge with a new bank roll and a change to invest in their new property and make it boom like never before.
Well we are here now, and even though a part of me is truly curious, would truly love to come back and burn some time on the new stuff and revisiting the old. But not without my trusty old toon Psike, who now cannot ever be remade due to power replacers being gone, and only those with old grandfathered in ones being left. His entire build hinged on the Brainscrambler pistol replacer making his pistol attacks psionic damage and letting it sync with his over all theme and concept of a guy who used mere toy guns and the power of his mind was the actual attack, he just used the toy ray guns for flair and to confuse his foes into thinking he was dependent upon them
Power Replacers had in concept been something I viewed as superior to CoH and when removed I felt it showed a distinct lack of grasping what was popular about the concept.

It has little to do with differing in opinion. Since you brought up "reason": what is your reasoning for staying here with prolonged trolling, antagonism, negativity, and whining? It is pathetic, obnoxious, and unhealthy behavior to continually stalk the grounds of a place you hate for the purpose of annoying and irritating others.
I want better things for you; you should move on. It's not an attack, it's a lifeline.

Thankfully I also did not run into any problems. They were able to link my two accounts and my old characters even still had my old key binds.
Sucks yours got messed up.
