Which vehicle do you think is the one for me?

First I must know, what if I need two vehicles? Do I need to pay again, or will paying for one unlock one for both characters on my account?

Also, do we get to costume the color of our vehicles?

Ok, here's what I need. In vehicle mode, I'd like to see my hero; an open cockpit, no tank. Like a Speeder Bike.
*I could buy a costume slot to create a "Rebel Pilot" suit to go with the vehicle.
*Logically, it'd make sense to have an open cockpit vehicle, as to attack with your own powers from your sit (obviously, I don't think you can actually do that in the game), and give you the option of just jumping out should it get destroyed in battle (again, I don't think you can actually do that in the game).

I don't want it so be fat and bulky, I like it to be long and narrow, again, like a a Speeder Bike.

A large amount of weapons would be nice.

And speed.

What about an astromech droid, does one come with an astromech droid? (lol, jk)

Adding to long and narrow, if there's a choice between a vehicle a flat front, and a vehicle with a pointed-tip front, I like pointed-tip, make it look more stream-like.

I don't know when this was last updated, but it is an excellent resource, both for the visuals and the stat listings of every vehicle it does include.

From your preference for pointed nose, it looks like the Talon, Raptor, Hawk, Wild Eagle and Adder would fit the design profile, but some are harder to get than others. Dagger, Mantis, Arrowhead and Broadhead and other snub-nosed bikes are also available to taste of course.

Weapons are another matter entirely.. best to just plan to save and buy what you need as rank 2 or 3 weapons off the Questionite Store.

Generally speaking once a vehicle is rank 2, it's differences to other rank 2 vehicles is minimal, but know that a few of the rank one vehicles truly do kind of suck unless only used for theme / appearance / travel.

Hi there, buying your 1st vehicle isn't just a purchase, it's an adventure.

You do NOT need 2 Vehicles. Vehicles are "bound to account", meaning you get just 1 Vehicle, but you can swap them between characters (e.g. via your Hideout's shared storage). It is a minor inconvenience.

But most importantly, realise you can buy the game in-game with Gs, like in the Auction House or trading with other players. You do NOT need to buy from the Zen store (in fact, many of the best Vehicles are NOT in the Zen store).

At the moment, you can NOT change the colours of your Vehicles, no.

    ---

Here's a major learning about Vehicles. You have some things to make a Vehicle great.

A Vehicle is just the chassis, just the frame. The real power is in Vehicle Mods.

Expect to spend 1000G on Vehicle Mods, including the Weapons, by trading with others.

It seems like a lot, but it's worth it and mine paid for themselves. I have 3 Vehicles.

    Here's a comic about it: http://co-comics.webs.com/vehicles.htm

I bought my 1st Vehicle with a rare device, then spent about 1000G for all the Mods, etc.

My 2nd and 3rd were more streamlined, cheaper, recycling some old parts, etc.

Well these aren't armed...but what about one of these?

    [IMG][/img]cars_zps0d18c92b.jpg

Seriously, why don't we have ordinary vehicles available? Make them a ground only 'become' device and sell them dirt cheap (like 10 or 20 Zen each) and let us customize the paint jobs. I want to drive that sporty looking car in the lower right corner, but there are a TON of vehicles in the graphics files (fire trucks, Hummers, police cars, limos, motorcycles, buses, Tractor trailer rigs, bank armored cars, etc, etc.) Heck they could even include a couple of flying vehicles, like helicopters or jets (see the landing pad right outside RenCen - lol) which would have flight built in.

Again the graphics work is already done here - just sell them to us! (who cares if they clip some terrain?) I want to drive my sweet looking hot rod through the streets of Millenium City!

They could be a fun pastime like Action Figures. :) All show and no combat.

    1. to see why we have no ground based vehicles. go to the top of the ramp behind the jet im Mil city and watch the cars at the top going around the corner. They do go Through the city
    2. we can't colour vehicles. Someone did work out to do it in the tailor but it doens't show in game.
    3. VTOL's are available as vehicles already.

Not to derail the OP's thread, but I'm talking about purely cosmetic vehicles here. We 'become' a dump truck, or hot rod, or whatever vehicle we have purchased (like Action Figures) from the Z-Store.

They have absolutely no powers other than movement.
