Cannot convert Toon(s) to silver?

My sub recently expired, and for whatever reason, when I try to convert two of my toons back to silver, it tries to get me to buy a retrain token? But the rest of my toons instantly reverted back. is there a reason this is happening or am I experiencing some kind of bug?

    Did you convert those two toons to silver and then back to gold at any time in the past?

    You can make the switch from gold to silver once for free. After that the system will ask you to buy a retrain token.

    Don't delete characters while silver, you lose the whole slot.

    Are they free form or an archetype you don't have? I know you get one free retrain token the first time to go to silve from gold (or gold to silver?) Are you trying to convert to an archetype you already own?

    One of them is locked to gold because I converted him from a FF to an AT once before, I accepted that, and he's better off gold anyway, the other I have no IDEA why they're stuck as a gold FF, I tried to convert it back to Inferno AT but the 'you need a retrain token" thing kept popping up, which I don't understand why, because it was their first time ever being a FF, so I should be able to convert them back?
