With the new Glass/Clear texture

Would it be possible to add that Glass/Clear setting to the Summon pets?

How I think it would work would be another drop down option in each Summon.

I was initially thinking of only the Arcane pets, but applying it all would be a great way to allow someone to use them as a hologram or solid light construct.

Thoughts? comments?

That would be cool, but how would it work?

Cool. That got me thinking. Glass/Clear capes and wings.

My thought would be the entire pet would be clear/glass with either glowing eyes, runes, etc.

Possibly with parts that are opaque to break it up in certain cases, but at least one completely clear version.

Also, if capes could be made with that it would be impressive, but I don't think patterns would work with it. That would be a lot more work to get patterns working if they could. Falling star pattern, basically like having a cape of moving bits would be win.

No, I got that. What I meant was that they aren't adding any 0-point cosmetic advantages since it's easier to make a whole new power. So how are they even going to be able to add in the option?

Well, for starters, I'd like to point out that the Glass texture is by no means a 'new' texture option for costume customization. However, it's a material/design that hasn't really been used a lot until fairly recently (mainly with the Holoforce set). I know, for a fact, that the Retro Sci Fi set not only had the Glass Texture, but was also primarily made of the Brushed Metal texture (another thing brought back into view with the Holoforce set).

Now, to the 'Glass Pets' idea. That'd require either adding a new pet look option, or making an entirely new pet power. Now, while some pet powers wouldn't really work with a Glass/Clear texture (like the Animals and Demons), a Glass Eldritch Golem WOULD be pretty awesome. It could be added as an alternative pet texture (alongside the other variants unlocked per rankup).
It makes sense, if you don't think about it.

As a kind of side-step of this, I think that all the parts with glass/clear textures (primarily the bubbles/domes of the Retro Sci-Fi set) should have psi/hex hologram texture options as well.
