Some Tanking power ideas

Semi-Toggle: A toggle that puts on a special effect and can be turned on with your main toggle.

Blood Pact (Darkness): A semi-toggle that has your team take 30% less damage and transfer it to you.

Human Wall (Earth): A semi-toggle if turned on makes it so any teammate that stands behind you is protected against a PBAoE or cone attack. You will be the one to take the damage instead. Makes you feel like a real bodyguard.

Deflect (Heavy Weapon): A lunge that sends you to a teammate. A buff is applied to the teammate transferring all taken damage to you instead. Also automatically taunts the enemies to you that attack the teammate.

Infuriate (Telepathy)
: A ranged PBAoE that forces the enemy and all enemies around to attack you for 5 seconds. Also generates high threat.

Mirror Shield (Ice): When blocking with this you will reflect ranged attacks back to the enemy. Can only reflect ranged attacks for 6 seconds then incites a 10 second recharge time before you can reflect attacks again.

    Agreed these are great ideas but the infuriate seems more appropriate to martial arts or some other melee skill set. (Spider-man taunting the bad guys.)

    I do like these ideas....but...

    Mirror Shield (Ice): This could easily becomes OPed in both PvP/PvE ..I really don't think I need to say why? but I will...100% immune to ranged covers all Rampages giving you "Immune" status to all used Ranged attacks....and I see that happening alot in CO....second..in PvP...any player using Ranged Attacks will be forced to ether hurt themselves or possibly loose form stacks ....aswell as other problems....

    Oh also...That would let you block Ice 90% of the time and still hold threat...27k Damage defected (unless your resistance, dodge, IDF and such all count before the toggle..but that's just silly I think?) would be enough threat to let you stay blocking even on the "cooldown" period

    Blood Pact (Darkness): This is just a better version of the earth one?

    Deflect (Heavy Weapon): This one is a fancy version of CC?...

    Infuriate (Telepathy): This one I liike...but....Mental Storm does the same job?....

    I do like where you are coming from...I like the idea on another toggle system...perhaps some kind of DuX power slot giving players a choice on which to use....but I would be very careful to add anything to CO right now....If these where added like this...80% of all players (DPS, tanks, Support...pretty much everyone) would take Mirror shield...some might take Blood pact...but not many...none would take Human wall....and afew might take Defect...Very few would touch Infuriate...as it's just a weak version on Mental storm with no damage or debuff...

    I have to admit I like your idea if it was changed somewhat....and it good to read a nice idea at times..so Thank you for that :)

    I actually like the
    Human wall one: if your tank has the heal/get energy when damaged, also your tank is likely to have more hit points than the idiot who hasn't learnt NOT to line up with the Tank.

    Mirror sheild- yep PvP must.
    alert must, take flight and it covers everything including lunges.Lunges are ranged.

    Deflect- is a great idea. There was a similar in RIFT, I think. Basically you shielded a teammate and could jump to them. Good for when someone is targeting the healer or support while they are trying o heal.

    Infuriate- Is basically crippling challenge

    just use Empathic healing near any of the Power armour mobs or destroids, you get attacked by any near you. or at least my Mind at does. Doesn't matter if I have not damaged anyone, as soon as I use Empathic healing they all attack me.

    All of these sound interesting but a hard taunt is not needed. But then again if people really want to help tanks they would start taking threat wipe powers to hehe.
