Can't launch the game

I tried playing Champions Online today, but it keeps crashing at the startup...

On the launcher, it asks me every time to verify the game files, and when its done and I launch the game, it crashed on the first loading screen.
I don't get an error message, just a popup that asks me to submit a crash report.

    I get the same issue launching through Steam.

    Worst thing is, I'm not even launching through Steam. Though I tried redownloading the game on Steam, and now it's apparently "patching" a patch of 5539MB as I'm typing.

    EDIT: Reinstalled the game and its fixed now. Still no idea what caused it in the first place...

    The problem was Steam.. they pushed a patch last night that triggered the issues with several games crashing on startup.

    The new patch was pushed a couple hours ago and everything works fine now.
