Geiger- Earth/Fire concept help

Hey there, thanks for checking this out. So, Geiger was an archaeologist when bla, bla, bla, crushed by a volcano bla, bla. Therefor, he now has the power to control earth, cause quakes, and even cause eruptions of hot lava with the ability to control said lava.

I think this preview (working fine at Lv20) will show you I'm not very good at builds, which is why I came to you! =0) It's been about a year almost and I've made another return. But now I'm even less familiar with what's available to me. Could I build the SS better? Are my passives and defenses and what-not well suited to DPS? Finally, the thematic powers. I wanted more earth powers, but I'm not sure of the synergy or even what's available as far as theme looks, as well as functionality. Any criticism, advice and help is welcomed and appreciated. Once again, thanks for you time!

Also, I know that for DPS, AoPM isn't best, but I really like the intelligence tree and AoPM itself, not sure why. But I picked it to fuel my.. well, Fire. And I haven't had any energy problems yet. Still, open to suggestions.

AoPM is a fine passive for being versatile. It won't be as good dps as an offensive passive in a dps role, but its still pretty good and is a bit better for health and energy. Int PSS is an excellent combo w/ it too, so I wouldn't change that if you wanted to keep AoPM.

I would def change out Ego SS for Con SS, though. Ego as secondary is not very efficient a choice for most builds- as Int can scale up Concentration instead, and since Ego's additive ranged dmg bonus diminishes greatly past 70 (which ya can get w/o SSing it- you'll have that much automatically at lvl 40 w/ AoPM).

Ego as a PSS is ofc good for ranged builds, but the only time I would take Ego 2ndary is if I was using a diff tree's PSS (like Dex or Con PSS) but still had an EU that scaled off of Ego (KI/HI, Ego Reverb).

Anyways, there's a fair amount of changes I would make to the build:

Level 14: Aura of Primal Majesty (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 17: Land Slide
    Level 20: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 23: Bountiful Chi Resurgence (Rank 2, Resurgent Reiki)
    Level 26: Masterful Dodge
Level 29: Fissure (Rank 2, Reconstruct)
Level 32: Stone Shroud (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 35: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 38: Fire Snake (Rank 2, Trail Blazer)

    Travel Powers:
    Level 6: Athletics (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Jet Pack (Rank 2)

    Specializations:
    Intelligence: Preparation (2/2)
    Intelligence: Enlightened (3/3)
    Intelligence: Detect Vulnerability (3/3)
    Intelligence: Expertise (2/2)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (1/3)

    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (2/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Offensive Expertise (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Mastery: Intelligence Mastery (1/1)

I added Land Slide so you had more Earth powers and as an easy way to roll MSA early on. Open w/ Fireball/UA from range to proc Concentration, lunge into the pack, then Conflag 'em all to death.

Against harder mobs and bosses ya can lay down a Fissure and stand in it, using Stone Shroud and BCR/RR if you need more healing, and you have 2 ADs for when things get rough. I also un-ranked MD, cause ranks only add a miniscule amount of avoidance% (the extra dodge doesn't matter since rank 1 already pushes you well past 100% dodge).

Fire snake is just a general dmg boost and cd I added in at the end for ur fire dmg. Also ranked up Athletics, as moving faster in and out of combat can be very nice.

Cleaned up the SS setup and spec/talent trees a bit (ya dun really want Make it Count for this build- no blasts; Ruthless is also advised; Aggressive stance vs. Rush of Battle is up to you, but I usually go for AS if I'm doing more than solo content).

I really appreciate the help there. The changes look like they'll work a lot better and I can't wait to try it out. Thanks for your effort in posting an updated build. Excellent!
