Ok, I was bored and wanted to mesh together some OP abilities. This is what I came up with.

You got 2GM, Epidemic, Strafing Run, along with OP Ego Surge, Unbreakable, and Resurgence.

Staple OP heal, Conviction, and OP form Concentration.

Maybe not completely OP flavor fire-and-forgets, Muni Bots and Implosion Engine, but they are 2 of my favorite abilities, so they count as a facefull of win.

OP threat dump, Evasive Maneuvers.

OP stealth passive that buffs everything, Night Warrior

Can use OP Stealth Aura to make you have OP stealth while in combat (it's not really stealth, it just looks really cool...OP cool things ftw).

Top it off with OP Overdrive for your OP maintains.

OP stats EGO for its OP tree and OP boost to OP Concentration.

OP Con and Rec for ridiculous OP HP and Energy.

Then you use OP Vindicator and Warden because you can.

Thought I would share.

Pfft, plastering 'OP' all over your post doesn't make an OP build! Let me show you how its done:

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

    Archetype: Freeform

    Super Stats:
    Level 6: Endurance (Primary)
    Level 10: Recovery (Secondary)
    Level 15: Presence (Secondary)

    Talents:
    Level 1: The Hero
Level 6: Jack of All Trades
    Level 9: Brilliant
    Level 12: Intimidating
    Level 15: Mighty
    Level 18: Indomitable
    Level 21: Tireless

    Powers:
Level 1: Steady Shot (Rank 2, Rank 3, Accelerated Metabolism)
Level 1: Power Gauntlet (Accelerated Metabolism)
Level 6: Chain Lightning (Accelerated Metabolism, Challenging Strikes)
Level 8: Aura of Arcane Clarity
Level 11: Entangling Mesh (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 14: Tractor Beam (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 17: Snow Storm (Accelerated Metabolism)
Level 20: Mental Discipline (Rank 2, Rank 3, Id Blades)
Level 23: Force Snap (Rank 2, Rank 3, Entropic Collapse)
Level 26: Mini Mines (Wall of Fire)
Level 29: Urthona's Charm (Rank 2, Ephemeral Endowment)
Level 32: Mind Lock (Rank 2, Befuddling Rage)
    Level 35: Reconstruction Circuits
    Level 38: Orbital Cannon

    Travel Powers:
    Level 6: Ice Slide
    Level 35: Millennial Flight

    Specializations:
    Endurance: Withstand (2/2)
    Endurance: Gear Utilization (3/3)
    Endurance: Quick Recovery (2/2)
    Endurance: Outburst (3/3)
    Sentinel: Torment (2/2)
    Sentinel: Eternal Spring (2/2)
    Sentinel: Caregiver (1/3)
    Sentinel: Rejuvenated (3/3)
    Sentinel: Genesis (2/2)
    Commander: Rapid Response (2/2)
    Commander: Multitasker (3/3)
    Commander: Durable (3/3)
    Commander: Relief (2/3)
    Mastery: Commander Mastery (1/1)

Tractor Beam has the ability to force villains to get close to you and admire your scintillating visage, which is most outrageous indeed. Force Snap was added just in case they needed a reminder of how awesome you look up close.

Mesh allows you to stop enemies cold and force them to question their life of crime while in the presence of your amazing powers... Amazing powers like snowstorm, chain lightning, and power gauntlet. Their base damage is so good they don't even need to be ranked up.. nay, they are above being ranked! If there was a Committee of Kickass Powers, these three would certainly be the leaders.

You ofc need Mental Discipline to stay sharp while prowling for thugs. I think the description also mentioned boosting ego-something somewhere, and hey more ego is always a good thing, right? Combine Mental Discipline w/ Arcane Clarity and maybe you could be the first one to figure out the chicken or egg riddle (hint: chicken, obviously).

Real heroes never back down, and how better to do that than to stay energized? With a fully-ranked energy builder, End + Rec SS, Rapid Recovery, and a hearty dose of Accelerated Metabolism, you'll be duly prepared to outlast any foe that gets in your way.

Every hero needs a sturdy backup plan, and what better than to surprise your enemies with Mini Mines? I once saw a wall of them one-shot some lvl 2 pigeons in Westside- these babies pack some serious kick! They definitely should be a part of every respected hero's arsenal.

And to top off the powers, we have Orbital Cannon- a power so good, so worth the setup that it doesn't even need ranks to be incredible. Orbital strikes are supposed to be extremely devastating, and none is more so than yours!

Millenial Flight will blind your enemies, which is just dandy! Ice Slide is also really fun and easy to use (and makes you a valued asset in snowball fights with Justiciar).

The Commander tree was chosen so you can prove to people that you really are a rapidly responding multitasker that provides durable relief. You are also a keen Sentinel to the populace, rejuvenating yourself with your hearty reconstruction circuits while tormenting your enraged and befuddled enemies with tales of your triumph over evil.
Your confused enemies may attack you or your friends, but its probably fine.. right? I mean, its cool.. right, all? We can handle it. Probably. We're heroes!

Obv, because of your great command over this game and its numerous & deep challenges, Commander Mastery had to be taken. You don't want people to doubt you.

With this build I have solo'd 70 Mega-Ds, F&I, Gravi, Kigatilik, Therakiel, and Cybermind- all at once, and while on the super-elite setting (which is hidden to all but the top 5 players- if you don't see it, then you obv aren't in the Top 5 Club and should uninstall the game) and while being tabbed out. So it is definitely a formidable build, if you just get on my level (of boredom).

You're missing the OP pets! What kind of Commander build is complete without an awesome summon like Air Elemental? You need to show your enemies that you're a lot more than hot air!

You also need an amazing heal like Reconstruction Circuits! Bionic Shielding is for wimps that need a reactive heal. Just take it like a REAL hero and reconstruct yourself with the crazy HPS it has!

Oh I had Reconstruction Circuits in there the whole time- you all were just being Mind Tricked by the sheer amazing power of this build!

True Fact: I was able to add extra powers at lvl 40, like the 40-50 base dps pets and Containment Field just because the game engine had to submit to my build's majesty. It was so good, I overloaded the PH w/ it and caused 1/3rd of the playerbase to suffer disconnection issues that day.

It'd be super ridiculous fast! The game would even allow you to skip right ahead to lvl 40 cause it knew it was futile trying to hold it back, and because anyone using the build is clearly too cool for leveling.

Alright, dropping the act for a sec- I did level w/ a somewhat similar build once, under the premise that I wanted to use some (not all) of the UP attacks and still make a cohesive/functional build out of it.

It was actually pretty fun, and all the abilities meshed well. Its still not great dps, though.. nothing can 'fix' low base dmg spells (unless ur a dev!):

    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Elusive (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Intelligence Mastery (1/1)

For normal henchmen groups, run up to the middle of them and deploy Mini Mines while channeling Vortex Whirlwind to keep them all close. On packs w/ a tough mob, lay a Particle Mine before the mini mine (has a longer arming time), and finish off any remainder w/ Power Gauntlet. On tough groups, ya can open w/ Orbital Canon first. Tractor beam can be used to keep a mob inside the orbital reticule if they are path-ing out (stop channeling it before they get too close), or to just knock a close enemy away for CC.

The best combo of the powers is having the mines, orbital cannon, and final delivery all going off at once. The enemy takes a burst of dmg and goes flying away- its tricky to setup, but hilarious.

Against bosses I settled on using mostly power gauntlet and orbital cannon from range, but occasionally running into melee to set the mines (when it was safe, ofc).

I picked up res serum for the last slot, but ya can replace it w/ arcane sigils if you wanna make a full 'mine' build, or w/e.

Oh and power gauntlet's interrupt I found pretty handy when leveling- ya can somewhat lockdown mobs w/ it, and blocking special charged attacks means less dmg/CC on you. Last I checked, the interrupt chance per time used came out to be the same whether charged or tap-spammed- its not a guaranteed interrupt, but it can be handy (too bad interrupts dun work against bosses, though it'd prob be OP if enabled).

Actually, Recon Circuits is much better than people give credit for. You can still use maintains with it. I was testing this with Recon Circuits and Hurricane. Both can be active like Mini Gun + maintain attack.

Yeah R. Circuits is fine for PA- not great imo but for those types of builds it gets the job done.
Using a non-PA maintain w/ it, and the non-PA ability not being cancelled early strikes me as unintended, though. If they 'fix' bugs properly I imagine we wouldn't be able to combo things like that w/ the right timing.

I don't think it was as intended either, but it's been brought up numerous times on these forums...I have even thrown out a thread for a specific answer with no response questioning the legality of it. This bug has been around for years now, and they've had plenty of time to do something about it or to make a response about it. So I consider it fair game until something is done about it.

yeah, 2 of my characters are (ab)using it atm. I raised it in silverspar's bug thread as well. I don't see many players exploiting it, and that's prob the main reason no action has been taken on the topic.

I would like to see the non-PA maintain thing fixed, even if its technically a 'nerf'. Until then I'll just keep those characters as is, but have a good backup build in case changes like that start happening.
