Make subscriptions buyable by zen

Why not make subscriptions buyable with zen. $15 is $15 right?

then you could get rid of the old subscription page entirely.
this would disable future use of the old atari cards that people can buy on amazon for $12 for 60 days. the biggest proclem with those cards isnt the deal but that none of that money goes to cryptic, it went to atari long ago when they put out the cards.

this would also make it easier for people around the world to subscribe.

certainly would be easier, I could use the PWE cards instead of credit card

If they did that, they might as well get rid of FF slots, and costume packs... and anything else in the Z Shop that you get packaged in with subs.

I'm all for it.... then again I like getting stuff for free instead of having to pay/play for it.

Could work just fine. Just don't include Zen earned ingame aka Q-->Zen.
Like said, people could use/gift PWE cards.

That and actually earning 1500 zen in a month would require a huge amount of time spent playing. Assuming it'd be 1500 zen because that's equivalent to the $15 it is the normal way.

At current rates with the price of zen being as high as it is (And something like this would only push it higher), the daily 8k limit only gets you 30-40 zen per character. Which over a 30 day period is only 1000 zen or so. So you'd need two characters and even then you'd have to hit the cap on both of them every day for most of a month.

So end result is more people end up subbed so more money going to Cryptic, even if it doesn't come directly from the same people that end up subbed, plus more people actively playing the game so it seems more alive. I'm not really seeing a downside here, aside from pushing the price of zen higher than ever before.

also remember if it's payable with ingame, the MAJOR upswing in demands for zen. That price is likely,going to stay above 400 , when there is actually zen on the exchange.

with wallet zen, they can get it through , steam arc
or not logging into the forums and
hitting the
get zen now> charge zen> log in.... hey presto, old purchase menu. send your zen wherever you want
