Need build advice to properly reproduce a tokusatsu hero

Trying to make a tribute to these guys (inspired by not a ripoff of any of them)

Specifically one of the first four problem is im not sure what powers will work best here to have the right feel and still be playable.

I think your tribute part of this toon is going to be more in the costume than actual build.

From what I saw, all of these shows are basically Power Rangers. So I would just pick the one with your favorite side weapon (Single Blade, Dual Blades, Laser Sword, etc.) and just use an Unarmed build with one or two chosen weapon attacks/abilities.

For instance, if you wanted to use Dual Blades, just use an Unarmed template (there are quite a few recent Unarmed builds here), find an ability you can do without, and add in Sword Cyclone.
