Question about Psi costume parts

Ok, so I've heard there's a trick with these parts (bracers/shoulders/back). You color them pure black to make them invisible and certain auras will make them "pop".

However, since they removed auras from powers, there is no easy way to test this.

I only get 1 free legacy aura and I don't want to make the wrong choice, so...

Which legacy aura do I pick to make this happen?

Thanks in advance.

Or copy that toon over to the PTS and play with auras there.

I tried this with the Holo Hex parts and Ego Form Aura. The parts didn't keep their textures and shaders when they were made visible. You might lose that wavy psychic stuff, but picking the right aura might be able to create a similar effect.

I'm not sure about which aura would work for this, but I know that the power
[Inertial Dampening Field] creates this affect.

Regeneration aura gives kind of wavy energy crawling through invisible costume parts, up and down. Though it looks more like pulsing force field, than anything else.

Ok, thanks everyone. I've done some testing and now it's time for me to respond.
You could always just make a new toon with the PSI pieces on, buy an aura, then remake 'em if it's the wrong aura.

I didn't want to make a mistake and get stuck with the wrong aura.

Thanks, but unfortunately IDF is a pulsating effect and I was looking for something more constant.

Yep, pulsates like IDF, but thanks anyway.

That's what I ended up doing. However, I didn't own any of the PSI parts on the PTS so I had to spend some time farming for Primus Recog to buy one. After that it was running back and forth between the legacy aura vendor and the debugger. Buy aura token-->Buy aura-->Equip aura---wash, rinse, repeat.

The two auras that work best are Ego Form & ID Mastery. Both auras make the parts visible with no fluctuating pulsation. Ego Form has some sort of additional swirl effect that didn't work for me so I decided to go with ID Mastery.

Yeah, the wavy psychic pattern isn't visible but I can live with that.

Well, thanks again everyone and maybe this information will be helpful to other people.
