Direct 3D mode keeps changing

Notice that certain options are disabled within Direct 3d 11 mode(beta), so I've been running the 9 version. However It seems sometimes, when Champs is relaunched, the mode gets reverted back to auto...which with my card ( GTX 770) goes to direct 11 and disables said options again. Are there any properties or options of the game/launcher, that can make it stick?

    When opening up the launcher, go to Options. Under the Command Line (very bottom of the menu) put in -d3d9 1. This will force the game to render using Dx9.
