No more Nemcon?

So now that UNTIL Sky Patrol is a rampage it no longer has it's Queue page, problem is because the whole page is gone Nemesis Confrontation went with it :eek:

The teleporter to Moon Base Serenity is still there in UNTIY HQ but that just brings up the normal Queue list that, as I said, no longer has Nemcon on it.

So I'm wondering if getting rid of Nemcon was intentional or a bug/oversight. :confused:

    Yeah some things are broken... no I don't use/abuse them.. where would be the fun in that?

    Coverage Testing! Because who runs nemcons on PTS anyway?

    A week without nemcon?

    Thanks again for noticing this -- we're aiming for getting it restored next week.

    Consider this a chance and bring back the NemCon Costume Drops that Alert Update removed! :|

    Can you imagine if each lair, NemCon, cosmic, etc., had a nice set of sought-after drops? Costumes, oddball devices, something else?

    Would really revive the game.

    Personally, I say don't bring back nemcon if the nemesis system is still going to be so broke that no one can use it. I don't care if there are small glitches but I haven't been able to make a nemesis for the past few months and having a cornerstone of the game not working is asinine.

    Personally, I say don't bring back nemcon if the nemesis system is still going to be so broke that no one can use it. I don't care if there are small glitches but I haven't been able to make a nemesis for the past few months and having a cornerstone of the game not working is asinine.

    Eh? Nemesis still works, have you jailed your last nemesis? If you haven't you can't make one. Furthermore, there is a limit to the number of nemeses you can make. You can also reactivate older nemeses to.

    ... The system for creating a nemesis is completely broken. One of my characters hit 25, I went to make him a nemesis and haven't been able to. it's just a default character. They don't even appear in the creator sometimes.

    I believe the missions still work, on Flare, he can still do nem missions, but creating one is impossible.

    I've re-installed, sent in tickets--none of which have been answered b/c Cryptic is tired of me--and anything else I can think of. I'm not the only one with this problem either.

    Nemcon breaking has nothing to do with the Nemesis system. Nemcon breaking has everything to do with how broken the queue system is.

    In fact, the queue system has more bugs than the Nemesis system does.

    Bold claim considering the only bug I've seen is the one where it won't let people enter the PQ if they have whitelisted duels.

    - Randomly causes you to /ignore players whispers when you try to invite them; also means you can't invite those people

    - Entire group is disbanded if you try to start the run when someone is in the power house.

    - Couldn't get map names from map manager

    Nothing new since you can't queue for anything from the power house. This should be basic knowledge well past common knowledge since this change was done ages ago. Why I keep telling people to stop trying to invite me from the power house because it doesn't work.

    I've only seen that once really, and that was during when the connection issues were going bad, again, which is related to other ongoing issues affecting the net.

    Never heard that one at all. In fact that's completely new one and sounds more like someone accidentally ignored them. Considering a few try to right click and friend first instead and accidentally hit ignore.

    Except that it happened multiple times, and the person was still able to see the "ignored" people talk in chat and vice versa; only whispers were affected, and it only happened after they tried to invite those people to the PQ.

    So as you can see, there's more than just 1 bug affected the PQ. The claim wasn't so bold after all.

    The claim that there were more affecting the PQ than NemCon is bold.

    You can't queue Alerts from the Powerhouse. Rampage is an Alert. Really, it's working as intended.

    So hold up the queue process and make it ripe for trolls who just go afk in the powerhouse then? Saying it's a bug is kind of personal opinion at that point. Design limitation or choice when this is not a terribly huge secret that being in a power house negates your chance to enter an alert or PvP.

    No, I'll give you that it'd be best to not disband the whole team. Ideally, it should immediately give the PQ leader a message that the alert could not be started because there is at least one player in the powerhouse (bonus points if the message says who so the leader can kick that player out if need be).
