Fire and Ice video - One of the first completions

Hey guys, this is a video of our very first run. It was a pretty scruffy run I could of uploaded some later runs which went much smoother without any deaths really. However this was one of the first completions of fire and ice so why not.

Give it a month, pugs will be beating it. I barely even had to do anything during the whole fight; the part with the columns is fun though.

I got 1 token out of 3 victorys.... sooo.... 33.3333333% drop rate confirmed!



In other news, I scored really really low due to being a healer/tank hybrid, which means that your score doesn't seem to affect your chances of getting a token.

Eh? There was plenty of rezzing going on in that video.

I've yet to win at this but the damage they do is just, discouraging to play... and yet you're fine, Typical.

I just did this on my 5k health toon with no heals and no defence purely because I had 2 healers in my team. I only died once and once on the bosses last hit on someone. Lol. AT's are fine, just find a good healer. Get making your healers guys! ;D

A tank can also make the party a success.

This Rampage Irrates me, would anyone consider bringing this Dragon to Private Que Sometimes? the 3 Random Games I had didn't get anywhere, I'd rather be able to play this then get segregated by Elitist Parties and Farmers grinding all for themselves, while everyone else struggles is just Cruel. ~.-.~

So I have done it over 10 times now. It turns out AT's get some of the highest scores as long as the damage is kept off them.

So how do you keep damage off people?

A tank on the frost is highly suggested, he hits by far more damage with some of his attacks and will one shot a lot of pure DPS toons. Having 2 tanks is also viable. Having a healer to bubble and spam heals is also highly suggested. Other than that just make sure none of the living fire and ice wipes the team, don't run into fire cage and destroy ice cages.

Trinity isn't "needed" it's just one of the tactics you can use for this.

One or two people who can res is probably needed though, we've just been doing it with a single tank on frost and the rest DPS currently. Even our soldier AT stays alive for most of the fight.

As the way things happen, the first day or so of farming the alert does belong to the "elite". However, in no time those players will pass on their experience and knowledge by forming groups with people in zone and the Rampagers channel, and the COalition vent server.

Hey guys, green machine uploaded a video of one of our recent runs. We could of probably of done this much faster but we actually had 4 tanks and 2 healers in this because it just so happened that was what everyone wanted to play. crazy how little damage these guys hit when it's done right.
