Q-Store "Leveling Gear" vs Nem Gear

Just wondering what people's opinion of the various "leveling" gear are, as far as I know, we have the three Q Store sets and the Nem Set, what are people's opinions of them?

So far I've tried the full Nem Gear set and tested the Dillo armor on the PTS and honesty, I can't really tell much difference between my effectiveness with either set... Am I missing something or does the +50% Damage Resist not work as adveritised? (I've been told that at 40, it's actually closer to +30%, but still, I'd thought that I would notice something....)

    The Nem gear is tradable through the hideout. That's the only advantage it has over having to purchase a new set for every new toon.
