    CONDOR

    Condorframe3_zpsa238c9c8.png

Condor is a Chilean heroine that follows the legacy of WWII Chilean hero, "El Condor" wearing an updated version of the uniform representing the Chilean flag, and taking the name of the national bird, she fits into the archetypical national and legacy hero.

She became notorious for putting public safety above anything else, sometimes letting villains escape in order to save civilians, something that put her at odds with some politicians, however her group still got Government support for a time.

After the group disbanded she accepted an offer to work for UNTIL and moved to New York for a while and then settled herself on Millennium City.

    Personality:

Brash, Aggressive, loyal and trustworthy. She has some problem with authority. Despite the first impressions she make, Condor is someone that can be relied upon and will always put the well being of civilians above anything else.

    Prysha Tosh'lyra

Prysha Tosh'lyra's kind is a Chaosenergy-Chaosmatter-Hybrid (("Tosh'lyra")) lifeform wich was created by the "Xha'osh Kre'tox" (Chaos-Engineers), a lifeform that has their home at in an Unknown Continuum. Most other Species calling it "The Chaos Continuum" and its their own inhabitants call it "Xha'osh Lyv".

She has, as all Chaos-Energylifeforms the abilty to change her form into any other species, lifeform or object or even other kinds of energy, due to this shapeshifting ability and due to her chaosmatter-chaosenergy-mix she has almost unlimited possibilities to defeat her enemies.

    Prysha-Forms.jpeg

Prysha's Kind is called the "Tosh'lyra" Kind wich is very well known as Space-Explorers,Conqeuerors and Superiorleaders among many parts of the Multiverserses. She as all of her Kind are created to seek and destroy M.I.A.'s (Multiversal-Interference Anomalies). Besides of fulfilling the given mission the "Tosh'lyra" are allowed to act by their own choice. Through rumors and other gatherings of information it seems that her kind is kind of a shadow-goverment in the most advanced civilisations.

The forum merger made that into a whole ordeal. You may be able to contact support to change that.

However, it's not against the rules to post your own @name. Posting someone else's @name and showing some embarrassing thing they've done in the game and stuff like that, that's what's against the rules.

    Chernobyl, the human criticality.

Nadya Romanova: Disaster survivor, scientist, cancer patient, super hero. Her suit malfunctioned while studying the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster, bombarding her with strangely filtered radiation that drastically altered her biochemistry. As a side effect, she's basically a walking nuclear reactor that she can channel through the suit. Doing so causes her severe physical trauma, however, and increases her chances of having her cancer return. Semi-retired under this guise, she only breaks out the suit in times of severe danger. However, she's taken to fighting crime on a local level as the vigilante archer Echo Zero.

Armiger, real name Jackson Eli Patriot. Former USMC Force Recon. Freelance Soldier, heavily cybernetically augmented on a genetic level. Speaks with a rough, deep voice with a southern drawl.

Bred and raised for one purpose- to be the template for the next generation anti-metahuman super soldier. A fact he's only recently come to discover, and it doesn't sit well with him. In the past he's been brainwashed into near-mindless loyalty, used as a wetworks operative, and altered on a genetic level to become a cybernetic killing machine. All things considered, he's got a right to be a little hostile.

He has a reputation for being 'anti-metahuman'. Quite the contrary, he's just very 'pro-human'. He's not fond of superpowers creating a privileged class. Overall, he's for equality- though he never hesitates to expose the metahuman 'heroes' that abuse their power or think themselves above human law. Aliens, AI's, and others don't quite get the same ire as a 'cape'.

No one just 'wakes up' with this mindset. In an alternate universe, superhumans were just everyday people... complete with all the greed, selfishness, cowardice, and all the other bad qualities that normal people tend to display. They became living gods, lifting themselves above the 'baseline' masses, and something had to be done. Unfortunately, by the time the Armiger prototype was functional- it was far too late. Jackson may not be able to save his home- but he can prevent this one from turning into the same tyrannical regime... even if it ruffles a few feathers.

Armiger uses a cybernetics system that constitutes over 80% of his body. He is capable of passing as a fully functional human. His cybernetics feature multiple augmentations- but are not limited to a carbon-based exoskeleton, synthetic muscular system, and enhanced nervous system. In addition his eyes are linked to a targeting system HUD with infrared, thermal vision, and motion sensors. He is fully capable of engaging most known superhumans and supernaturals and surviving.

Abilities/Training: Enhanced reflexes, strength, speed, and durability. Extensive ballistics expertise and knowledge, close quarters combat [SAMBO, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, and street brawling], Parkour, and resistance to mental influences. Extensive covert ops and military training, anti-metahuman tactics, and extensive and adaptive cybernetics. Access to intelligence databases via unknown means.

    ZE2424
    zeeeeee_zpsfa6bd9fe.jpg

A combat robot developed by the Tadaki Williams Military Research Group. The title stands for Zakada Enrichson model 2424, with Zakada and Enrichson being the surnames of the two lead engineers on the project. The project goal was to make a lightweight, highly mobile, AI-driven combat droid capable of entering danger zones and putting down an immense amount of fire power in situations where ending the conflict was more important than minimizing collateral damage. The unit itself is made mostly out of lightweight plastic, to minimize how much energy it has to use to transport itself so that all the energy can be used to power the weapons; as a result, the unit itself is actually quite flimsy and a few solid hits will neutralize it. It has a few defensive countermeasures to extend its period of operation, but then again, it wasn't designed to survive encounters, just to end them as quickly and with as much firepower as possible. As a side effect of its low durability, it is also fairly cheap to repair. Its arsenal of weapons has been called "excessive" by many other designers, and consists of several energy and material based weapons; all the material based weapons are replicated within the unit itself, so it doesn't run out of ammunition, and this is also another reason the unit needs to have such highly optimized energy flow.

Unfortunately only one was ever made. The unit was equipped with a dynamic AI; it was given this because with that much firepower it needed to be able to assess situations to make sure it was firing at the right thing. Everything was fine when they first turned it on, mainly because the weapons weren't loaded so they had no idea that as soon as they mentioned turning the thing off it was trying to fire every weapon it had at the people trying to turn it off, having assessed that they were a threat it needed to destroy. The problem started during the first field test, when the weapons were turned on. Literally a second after that switch was flipped, ZE2424 vaporized every human being in sight to avoid having them turn her off again. It then flew off looking for more targets to shoot.

The reason ZE2424 doesn't just kill everyone is because she is in fact programmed to protect all human beings who are not classified as villains. The problem is that they got part of her programming backwards; she was supposed to consider the safety of non-villain humans before herself... instead, she was programmed to think of her own safety first, meaning anyone that tries to harm her in any way, be they villain or not, will shortly end up on the targeting end of her weapons arsenal.

    Dr Delfecto

An ancient Atlantian Lich that derives her power from what she calls her " FUTURE SCIENCE \o/" Dr Adrasteia lays claims to be the creator of Nepht's artificial world and states that Nepht is a "mind clone" of herself. She has on many attempts tried to conquer the 16bit universe each attempt has been thwarted by Nepht. Deflecto ( a nickname Nepht calls Adrasteia much to her dislike ) can by unknown methods bend gravity to her will. A power that her "mind clone" Nepht has inherited. She might be a badger.

Dr Deflecto in CO has a different origin from her 2004 CoX counterpart. The 2012 CO Deflecto is a villain who's only interest is creating the perfect robot ( Nepht* is meant to be a massive failure ) She a homage to videogames biggest robot loving mad scientists : Dr Eggman, Dr Wily and Dr Halsey ( ignoring the fact that Deflecto is mutant Badger ).

    * Nepht is robot that consists of nano-machines she only thinks shes an undead goddess.

    LOL.

looks like we were thinking the same thing.

Nah, the cancer's just a part of her background and a check for her power level. I play her like a bomb, rp wise. She could probably level a city, but doing so would kill her. I'm fascinated by the concept of a wicked-powerful character that's limited by the fact that they can't physically contain it all, and unloading fully would pretty well destroy them.

My main is RazorBunny who I have played in three versions of DND, Rolemaster, CoX and now CO.

Regardless of which universe, the concept is the same: Born into a family with many powerful magicians, and in particular her father was one of the bet in many generations. He did, however, make equally great enemies.

One day a traveling circus was in town and he won for young Elora an enormous stuffed bunny, fully as tall as he was from one of those throw a ball and try to knock down 6 jars games. Overjoyed with her toy, she slept soundly that night. Right up until a spell duel between her father and several assassins blew the roof off their home. Elora was only 3 and totally untrained but in her panic she managed to possess the doll and turn it into a heroic champion protector (much as she imagined her father to be) that drove the assassins out of the house wielding a flaming 2x4 as if it were a magical sword.

With the fight over, She found she couldn't get back to normal. Eventually her father recovered and got out of the hospital and was able to help her. Then during school some bullies picked on her and BOOM, out came the giant bunny, this time with a self-manifested flaming sword. And again she was trapped until she got help.

In high school her father was killed and she went on a bit of a rampage hunting down and destroying the cabal that was responsible. But with no one to help her turn back Elora spent too much time as the bunny and started to forget her human side. But she never forgot that her purpose was to protect people from dangerous people who want to hurt them.

    Powers:
Rapid healing as her spell tries to keep the bunny looking the same way in reality as it does in her mental image of it (that is, intact).

Giant Growth. Her first response to anything threatening is to get bigger, since a 6-foot tall stuffed bunny is enormous compared to the body of a child and that's how her magic tries to create it. At her best, shes managed about 30-foot tall (nearly 20 in CO via enrage and the miniaturization device).

Magic Sword. Typically flaming (and with green flames as green is her favorite color) with which to smite evil doers.

Not particularly intelligent. In the form of a stuffed bunny, she is a bit inspired by the stories of Winnie the Pooh, who was slow on the uptake. She always loved the scenes of him holding his head saying "think think think think think think" over and over. And again, the magic of the transformation turns her into her mental image, thus shutting down her intellect (but it's still there n the form of a very strong intuition). It sometimes seems worse than it really is when she talks about herself in the third person (picked up from Tigger).

Nearly fatal scrapperlock. Name comes from City of Heroes. It's when melee types get caught up in the moment and keep fighting, running off ahead of teammates, chasing enemies into additional spawns and generally acting like a nOOb not because they're incompetent, but through the sheer love of SMASH. Yeah, Bunny does this. A lot.

Edit: Now improved with infinitely more graphics:
    hnsb.jpg

My next best known would be my namesake Gavin Runeblade who is kind of me if my actual traits were exaggerated into super powers. I have his exact outfit (except I sold the trench coat), and unlike him I don't wear my pants backwards. (stooopid tailor, all the men's pants have no zippers....)

If it's finding a place to host/store your picture, to give it a URL, to let you use the 'Insert Image' feature, then I've found that CORE-CONNECT does the job nicely without any signup or anything.

    Edit:
    Steps involved:
    1. Click on your member name under your portrait of your forum post. That'll take you to your CORE-CONNECT page.
    2. Click on the portrait under your member name on that page and it'll bring up the 'My Photos' section.
    3. You'll see two default albums, 'Profile Photos' and 'General Photos.' Click on one of those albums, either will do.
    4. If you were already signed in to the forums, then you'll see '+Upload Photo' option on the right side. Otherwise you'll have to sign in to see the '+Upload Photo' option (Same sign-on as Champions, since CORE-CONNECT is Perfect World too).
    5. Upload your photo using the directions provided on the pop up.
    6. That photo is now stored online an has two URL(s) associated with it, one for the thumbnail and one for the picture itself. You can copy that URL by right clicking on it and choosing said option (in Chrome at least).

    Edit2:
The mistake I keep making is copying the URL for the thumb which is usually too small to use. I have to remember to click on the thumb first, bring up the picture, then right click the picture proper to copy the URL.

    Edit3:
Dare I say, I'm actually surprised, impressed that CORE-CONNECT had a feature that I'm currently using, lol.
Must be time to shut it down : )

Using demo record makes it much easier to set up shots. You don't need to do any camera set up. All of that can be done when playing back the demo. It also allows you to clean up the insane particle effects, fog, and some other things that get in the way of the perfect shot.

While Jawbreaker is the character I rp with the most...but when it comes to doing events and alerts and such Quick Trigger is my goto character and probably the one I have that is most recognizable.

    22mdj5.jpgmr3i93.jpg

Quick Trigger is an extremely sophisticated synthetic being designed to mirror a biological human in almost every detail and engineered on the cellular level to be a highly capable assassin and combatant with minor telepathic and telekentic abilites. One of a relatively small number of such synthoid operatives created by unknown scientists for various clandestine purposes, she currently operates under her own directive and is highly unpredicatble and very dangerous. Approach with caution.

This is my main char in CO, Fulgor.

His bio is based on the webcomic I draw:

Fulgor (Tom) got his powers one day without knowing how or why, and not remembering what had happened in the previous days. He and others in a similar situation decided to get together and find out the mystery behind their new abilities.
Theu will have to choose between trying to go back to their regular lives or find out what it really means to be a hero.

    Beastlord

Bestlord was a freelancer who one night decided to dabble in the occult and summon a spirit animal. However, he accidentally became one instead! When he uses his powers he transforms into a ethereal lion creature. (He's actually a de-powered dimension lord. If he ever traveled to his dimension he'd be full-power but wouldn't be able to come back.) He has dimensional healing and attack powers as well as the ability to traverse the lower astral plane (Faerie, Babylon, etc). He's a underestimated B-list superhero but usually can come through in a pinch.

That's half of it, I also crash when I try to take a screenshot, when I alt-tab, if I click on the wrong part of the screen, if the game randomly decides to jump into windowed mode or change my graphics settings in the middle of a fight, and sometimes for no discernible reason at all. I don't know for sure that it's the game itself, as I have a lot of bugs that can be verified by customer service, but they can't do anything to fix or resolve because no one can reproduce them. Yay me. o.o

Anyone else having trouble getting screenshots let me know as well; your post in this thread is 376% more likely to be read if there's a cool picture ^3^

I am most likely to be on as Kagami The Magical Cat Gerl, ZE2424, Sasha Bunz, or Mary-Kate Ashley Sozen, all @foxiandfriends
Thanks, I should be on a bit this weekend, I'll try to hit you up. Much appreciated!

    Blackbird1_zpsbecc688a.png

This is Blackbird, an average girl from Great Britain studying abroad at Millennium City University who keeps an eye out for evildoers in her spare time.

All the while looking supersexy

    Silk Lad to the rescue!

    silklad1_zps2a8957ab.jpg

A regular Joe who found an ancient Silk cape in an African ruin, he is choosen by a dormant Spider God to remind mankind of his old teaching:

"We are all connected through a web of fate."

Life is the most important thing for the Lad, who after some struggling, made the Spider God teaching his own.

He is still new to this "hero business" but he is making friends fast. Recently rescued families from a burning building while other heroes did battle with a strange, powerful robot on one of the poorer areas of MC.

Sorry i missed you Spinny. RL attacked. But a friend mentioned that costume saves are images, so i hope to have something tonight if that works.

And for fun, here's Bunny participating in the Forum Malvanum PTS livestream, which is where I got my beloved Iris Irregular action figure (note, that's Trail Turtle in the image, not me):
