Started playing again for a while after a year and a half gone.
In Xp/Grab Alerts - I notice occasionally a bonus right when the boss is defeated - like 20-30k xp, but not all the time.
Is that based on who did the most damage say? It makes a big difference to get 80k xp vs 50 per alert.
On a somewhat unrelated note - it is nice to see some level gating now, took a year or a year and a half it sounds like...and level 10 is still too low, but its something. And Xp alerts not being 2 min ones is very nice.
The amount of exp is usually unrelated to how much damage is given. Its not enough for anyone who regularly grinds these out to really care how its given out compared to the real reward at the end.
If anything, the bonus from defeating the boss is not really intended.
30k, in addition to 43k for the end xp...is not significant?
Thats 50-70% more xp. That seems pretty significant to me. Like 300 alerts instead of 450 to get from level 15-40 or whatever it might take say.
Every other enemy killed seems to follow a rough increase in XP the larger % of damage you do. My lower damage characters get less xp from all the outside and inside enemies, and often does not get that bonus on boss defeat.
If it is damaged based just like every other enemy - it makes a sadly strong argument to make a pure damage build, and only make a 'real' build after 40 and using the free retcon.
