Maintenance this week will be just a restart. It'll start at 6 am PST and it is estimated to last about 2 and a half hours, but could change due to unforeseen circumstances.
Start time: 6 am PST
Estimated duration: 2.5 hrs
Thanks,
Dwight
Update 1: 6:05 AM PST- Maintenance has begun. We'll keep you updated if anything changes with the estimated down time.
Update 2 6:50 AM PST - Maintenance is progressing as planned. Servers could be back in about an hour or so, if things go well.
Update 3: 7:40 AM PST- Maintenance has completed ahead of schedule. Welcome back Champions!
Hello Dwight........it seems like the last patch broke the third colour for the victorian dress costume part.....any chance of looking into that? There is a thread about it in the Gameplay Bugs section of these forums http://co-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=260481

I'll send this over to the devs and have them take a look at it. Thanks for the heads up.
There are some connection/performance issues they are looking into. There was a disconnect a few days ago and they want to look into that a little more. Hopefully it won't take the entire 2 and a half hours. Thanks for your patience.
Last week you said " know it can be frustrating, but the devs are working on a few things and we'll have an official announcement next week, if all goes well. Just hang in there." In regard to several people being frustrated with just a restart. Can you let us know what happened to the announcement?

For sure. Due to some issues it got pushed back, but we're working on getting some news out to everyone as soon as possible. Sorry about that

I'm not being a jerk, but I'll be honest with you. Please understand I am trying to be helpful but firm. That isn't the first, second, or third time that list has been brought up.
A lot of us come to these forums and point out bugs and other issues constantly, and it seems like we're wasting our time and being ignored. We pour suggestions into various threads in the hopes of giving Devs feedback, but it's becoming painfully obvious that they aren't reading forums for feedback on the game they work on. it's quite depressing and doesn't speak well to us. It's one thing for them to not heed some crazy costume suggestion. It's completely different when I've pointed out the same broken animation for anime pistols for well over a year.
Sorry, man- I just have to be honest and straightforward.
Just curious, has it been documented lately (as things change periodically) how the devs get their bugs to report on?
Do they review bug reports in game, or
scour the forums for bugs, or
a combo of both, or
does someone else get the bugs list, produce a priority list, and distro to the devs to work?

I believe it is a combination with perhaps a bias towards existing bug posts on forums. Based on the nature of the bug, it is likely sent to the appropriate developer(s) to deal with them either time permits or when a stable solution is found.
I am pretty sure this MB patch was for the Energy Aura and Fire Details Aura Pack...
... it's cool as long as we get more Auras and Costumes per Maintenance it's Cool

ealford1985 got it right. Its Dwight McCarthy from Sin City, one of my favorite characters from that franchise.
I'll send this over to the devs as well. Thanks for reporting this.
