I've noticed that, as of the last patch or so, panning the camera and rotating your character by right-dragging is not reliable.
Sometimes it just doesn't register and you have to try again.
Very often it winds up changing targets, popping up a context menu for allies, or selecting a "pet" object (like an ice barrier) -- this can make Alerts very awkward.
I thought at first it might be an issue with my wireless mouse (which I've had for several months and has been 100% reliable, and never given me a problem in gaming until now). I changed the batteries, same behavior. Only an issue in Champions, it's fine everywhere else.
This happened to me before in one of the previous updates. I found out that for some reason my targeting controls were reset. Try making sure your controls are still set up the way you prefer.
Yeeeeah, I've been running into this, too. Esp. the targeting part. I thought it was my right mouse button dying, but even when switching mice it still seemed a lot more prevalent than it had been in the past.
There's also a weird tendency to switch targets during combat even with my fingers off the right mouse button -- and after combat, to target enemies I'm not even facing who haven't attacked me. Which tends to taunt them when I have energy builder on "never cancels" like I usually do.

It's kind of driving me nuts.
