Patcher Update?

The patcher just downloaded a 10+MB update that's seams to have done nothing noticeable. Anyone know what's up? Guess I should note I log in from Steam, could this have something to do with Arc?


EDIT: ok, nothing noticeable except a hideous amount of lag when I finally got in.
double edit, yay!: Ok the lag is just maybe my internet deciding to go into drunkard mode right after or during the patch DL

    The lag was... interesting.

    I entered the Freedom Tunnel in Monster Island. Lag pulled me back out of it. I entered it again, took a few steps, and lag pulled me back out again.

    Never seen that before. :D

    So no ideas on the mystery patcher update? Unstable internet connection shenanigans aside, it did DL more than 10MB. I had logged in the day before, and I'm pretty sure nothing changed on my side. Did this happen to no one else?

    Several months ago I tried logging in like usual and was instead greeted with a 1GB patch out of nowhere. Wasn't a case of not having logged in for a while and having to update, just mystery patching. Presented that to the forums and the best idea we came to agree upon was somehow some files were corrupted and required replacing. Maybe this is the same thing on a much smaller scale.

    That's possible, but this was the patcher itself updating. If that had gotten corrupted, I don't think it would do much more than immediately crash.

    I'm kind of assuming this has something to do with Arc. Maybe someone is adjusting how the patcher works, but there was nothing announced.

    I think you misunderstand. It's irony, because IT is coincidence, not because it's A coincidence.

    Only odd thing I've noticed is that the two GRAB alerts I ran had the bosses attacking before anyone even went upstairs. Did they change that and I didn't hear about it or is it weird?

    It's quite common, someone just aggroed the bosses, most likely someone flying.

    Not coincidences, and not ironic, which is why the song itself is ironic, because it contains no irony when it's a song about irony o.O

    Well, yeah, I've seen that, but I've never seen it happen without the cut-scene playing. Thanks, though. Not like I've "seen everything".
