Grab Bag of Great Ideas (well, I think they're great!)

I'm just going to list here a handful of ideas I've been kicking around in my head. Here's some of them!

Powers

-Have an alternate Energy Builder for Single Blade that attacks with a Two-Handed Grip.

-Add a Sonic Powerset. I mean, we already have Sonic Damage, but so few powers use it, and no Powerset uses it exclusively.

-Add a Throwing Weapons powerset. If you do it like the other Martial Arts powersets, it'd be a great idea! Even have it so that you can customize what your thrown weapon is. Spears? Knives? Rubber Balls? Spoons and Forks? I'll be the Blue Raja.

-Make Crowd Control a more viable combat option. I mean, the best Superheroes rarely would have to fight directly, anyway. Spiderman would just tie someone up with his Web. Batman would daze you with a Batarang and then dive-kick you. The list goes on.

Travel Powers

-Land 'Vehicles'. Don't treat this like you treat normal Vehicles, just more like a Travel Power. For instance, have a Motorcycle with no special features (you know, like a Harley-Davidson-type Motorcycle, like what's near that Cobra Lords building). Maybe a Car, or whatnot. Nothing with Rocket Launchers, mind you.

-Missile Riding. Basically, you ride a Missile as it 'shoots' around the map. Think like the end of 'Dr. Strangelove'. Shouting 'YEAAAAA HOOOOOO!' and waving around a cowboy hat is optional. You could even add an Advantage where, when you turn off the TP, it causes a good sized Explosion that damages nearby enemies.

-It would be nice to add certain Advantages to similar Travel Powers. For instance, Hyper Ball moves around at the same rate as Superspeed, but does not have the Impact Advantage. It'd be even better if you renamed the Advantage (but kept the effect) to fit the TP. For instance, Hyperball could have 'Strike!' or 'Pins Down!' or even '7-10 Splitter!'

For now, that's all I'll put. I have more ideas, but I'll get to THOSE later!
It makes sense, if you don't think about it.

Well, I actually forgot I started this thread ages ago. I was gonna make a new thread that would be basically the same as this one, but SCREW IT. I'mma just add on to this baby.

    And now... some new ideas/suggestions!

    Powers:

-Add on to the existing Martial Arts powers with transfers of already-existing Animations. For instance, take the anim from [Ego Blade Frenzy] (the one using one 1 Ego Blade) and port it to a Single-Blade power. As of now, the Single Blade powerset is really devoid of a good AoE, and has no maintains whatsoever. You could also port one of the Unarmed (or possibly even Might) animations to the Fighting Claws powerset. Maybe [One Hundred Hands] turns into a rapid-stab punching attack? Plus, Single Blade and Fighting Claws have less powers, overall, than the other Martial Arts trees; Double Blades gets an extra power, and Unarmed has a ton more for both the DPS and Dodge-Tank aspects. Just sayin'.

-Really, fix the 'Ultimate Powers' so they really live up to their names. Other than Unleashed Rage, from the Brick Framework, all of the Ultimates are just... meh. I know, for a fact, that Fury of the Dragon (from the Martial Arts frameworks) DOESN'T grow stronger with stacks of Focus, as it claims it does. Additionally, it doesn't deal Melee Damage, so any Melee Passive will hardly boost the power. Energy Storm (Energy Projection Framework) should really be more powerful than it is, as well as Implosion Engine (Technology Framework). Also, Planar Fracture (Mystic Framework) should really have some sort of 'Knock-To' effect that sucks enemies in, or perhaps give random buffs to allies. And I hear that Mind Link (Mentalist Framework) just stinks, as well.

    Auras:

-Something I've called for for a while now... Weapons Auras. Now, some people have mentioned that the Auras associated with the Legacy Power Replacer gear items are only possible because the Aura is attached to the weapon, itself. Therefore, you couldn't just have an equipable Aura that works with a Weapon, since an Aura isn't attached to a specific object, per se, but your entire Character Model. But, you see, I HAVE THOUGHT OF A SOLUTION!!!

What if you make Weapons Auras NOT actual 'Auras', but 'Unlocks'? If the [Dragon] bracers unlock could get an aura slapped on, and shipped back out as the [Takofanes Bracers], then why can't there be an option (when you select your weapon, in the Costume Creation menu) to add some sort of effect to said weapon? Much like how the aura effect from Takofane's Bracers adhere to the bracers themselves, so would a Weapons Aura stick to your weapon... right? I'm not one for the technical know-how, but it sounds like it could work.
It makes sense, if you don't think about it.
