Hello Heroes
As some of you know I usually run a lottery for my SG mates and offer up a single character, pen & ink doodle as the prize. I am going to offer one up here as a Christmas gift, the rules are as follows:
(01) You must post your character name@name (in case i need to get in touch.)
(02) You must post a screen cap of your character to this thread, showing head to toe.
(03) You may suggest a simple pose or stance like the Human Torch casually tossing a fireball in the air (if the stance requires a weapon I'll need a pic of that as well).

This is a limited time offer, expires tonight and it goes to the first person to make a proper post. The winner's picture will be posted here, within a week or two.
Thanks and Happy Holidays,
AC

    Hello Heroes
Thanks to the quick post, some downtime and a fairly classic looking superhero, I got started on this pretty quick. My lines are a little shaky and my scanner needs servicing but I do hope you like this little Christmas doodle.

Hey thanks you two. I was very excited and flattered to watch the views count rise. My girlfriend said I should probably offer up another doodle if the view count reached 200 or something as high and that. Were at that benchmark so I will try one more, the rules are the same as before but this one will be for a New Year's gift.

These are really good. I like to keep the doodles in the realm of pen & ink, comic book type style, but I get a real kick out of seeing the coloured pieces. I like black & white because it really works well with superheroes and because it keeps my supply costs down. For those who care, these doodles are just pencils, ball points, sharpies (whatever's handy) and done on 8.5 X 11 printer paper. So the when one of these doodles gets coloured and looks good, I know I was able to capture and convey the image in my head.
Thanks for doing this, and feel free to add your name to the coloured pieces.

Thanks! I can't draw to save my life, but I've been coloring for fun off and on for the better part of 12 years. I mainly use Photoshop, and only recently have I acquired a tablet to help smooth out looks and add better detailing. I did actually add my little stamp next to your name (it's the little "b" that looks like a bunny since my deviant art name is Bunni-B :P) I just keep it subtle so people focus on the colors instead!

Keep up the awesome line arts!!

Wow, agentcanada's ink and jerax1011 colors make these characters look even more amazing. Both Arch Tech and Mentella do not look static, it's like something is going on in the picture. It kind of draws the viewer in to find out what's going on.

    Hello Heroes
Upon rereading the thread I seemed to have miss a few posts, while the questions may not have been directed at me specifically, I'll try and answer them anyways.

    Nice assets there on Mentella.
And awesome works alltogether. Very cool lineart.
Makes me want some of that. The art i mean...
    Can i join your SG???

Well I meant the various SG's that I've been in here and in CoH, I don't actually have one of my own although I did make a group to stash my alts in. The last bunch of lotteries however were held for the S.A.S.

Haha, this made me laugh a lot xD
I do love this picture, I am wondering if I can be sneaky and ask for one of ForceGirl x3

Sorry with the Holidays over, I'll be going back to my normal workload, these were fun though and jerax1011 made it all the cooler.

I should add - you're the artist, so whatever position inspires you is cool with me!

Cool, but believe it or not while your input may challenge me, it makes it a little easier to impress you at the same time.

Do you take commission or was this a one time thing?

This was meant to be a fun, little Christmas present both to give something back to the community and to see if it could be done at all. I don't normally do commissions, I actually find the expectations and pressure to produce a piece to be very inhibiting. The various types of Lotteries I've run help with this a lot. All that being said, I did get a little caught up in it, lol.

As for all the compliments, thanks it means a lot to me.
    Up next, Spider-Bat

Sorry it took a bit to decide what look to use but I narrowed it down to this one:

    q1jd.jpg

Feel free to use the weapon or not, I just included it if you were interested :) As far as a pose, surprise me!

    To anyone who's interested...

I'm fine with coloring art that Agent Canada has drawn as well as others, as long as I have the artist's permission to do so (all credit will be given to work that isn't mine). It's a fun hobby of mine, and I may at one point charge for coloring, but for now donations are welcomed, but not required. Feel free to contact me through private messages here or via my deviantART account (link is in my signature) I don't want to derail Agent's thread with personal requests so this will be my last post about it.

The one's I've posted so far were in support of Agent's holiday gifts :)

Hello Heroes, jerax1011's picture is finally done. First off, a little bit of the thought processes behind this doodle:
I half expected to see a screen cap of the character you use as your avatar, so I was going to do a standard but safe cheesecake pose. Playing a little with your tagline.
When I saw the armoured lady with the really big sword, my first thought was a 70's barbarian queen type of pose which you can see I started off with. I felt it needed a to be a little more personalized and you did say "As far as a pose, surprise me!"
