A two rather simple Z-Store item ideas:
1 - Travel Power Booster:
Basically an equippable device working as a one of travel powers, but taking vehicle speed mods.
Idea is to use them for toons with character concepts not fitting with any vehicles.
The same limitations of use as vehicles, only one or two support slots for speed mods. The same base speed as jets.
Pretty much a revamp of UNTIL hover discs with different graphics.
If for some reason, namely gameplay balance, characters should not be as fast as vehicles while retaining all builds and powers, an active device could be giving a debuff to characters.
2 - Permanent sidekics devices:
The same sidekicks as are available in Z-Store, with exactly the same stats and utility.
Only one can be active at the same time. Pricing somewhat comparable with permanent become devices.
